To start off, I do thorough research and I’m VERY picky when it comes to purchasing products ESPECIALLY when it’s on the “pricy” side and I have no idea what a “good quality” bed sheet is supposed to be. You might be thinking... “that’s with everyone!” LOL. I’m a little different. To give you a general idea- it took me TWO (2) months (no joke) for me to choose which pillows / inserts to purchase for my couch that was extremely expensive and custom made! This was my clean fresh start... I wanted everything in the house to be absolutely “PERFECT.” ...THAT was my biggest issue. The word, “Perfect.” Being a “perfectionist.” Having to deal with mild OCD! So going back to my review- in the past, I’d always buy the product with “highest review” and/or “highest rating.” DO NOT USE THIS METHOD WHEN SHOPPING ON AMAZON!!! For example, when I was looking for a pillow insert for my couch or my bed, I was going to click “check out” UNTIL I stumbled across some negative feedbacks. I immediately read through them; and thought it must’ve been a mistake! It clearly says *best seller* and/or has 5K+ reviews with overall 4 1/2 star ratings! I was so confused. I started to read more reviews and I clicked to read the “recent ratings.” That was the day that my amazon shopping changed forever. I’m NOT over exaggerating. When I was shopping for Kanken Backpacks for back to school; I decided that I didn’t want to “gamble” by buying a fake knock-off brand. Instead; I bought it from the Fjallaven Company site directly. To sum up my amazon experience (which later ties to the review of this product)... ALWAYS READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE ANY PURCHASE! From house decor, stationery supplies, makeup, etc. Why couldn’t someone tell me this earlier..? WHY DOESNT AMAZON CHANGE THIS “glitch”!? OKAY. Back to the review on the bed sheets. Some facts that I learned from my research on google was: 1. High thread counts doesn’t mean “high quality.” Thread count is often used in terminology as best bed sheet’s smoothness and it’s durability. It’s the number of threads woven into a square inch of fabric. Unfortunately, this isn’t always reliable. Thread sheet should be taken into consideration; but the type of cotton is the most significant! 2. The bed sheet is a SCAM if it advertises as having more than 1,600+ thread count. My research concluded that having more than 1,600+ is not 100%. Which means the bed sheet listed as 2,000 thread count has the “FILLERS” 3. The TOP quality cotton is 100% Egyptian Cotton. Remember, if the product simply states, “made with 100% cotton” assume that it’s made with “American upland cotton” (aka: NON-TOP QUALITY). 4. The difference between American upland cotton is that unlike 100% Egyptian cotton- it feels “rough” and less expensive variety. Egyptian Cotton’s long fibers produce sheets that are thin and sumptuous YET- Strong and Long-lasting. The shorter fibers if upland cotton can poke out of the weave; aka: weaker fabric. Then, there’s the Pima Cotton. Pima is soft and better than the upland cotton. 5. Use common sense. Don’t expect “OMG!!! I’M SLEEPING ON CLOUDS” after purchasing a $40 bed sheet marketed as *best quality* Helpful Info: “Percale” is plain, matte weave with crisp/cool feel (perfect for people that get hot easily). “Sateen” is slightly heavier but extremely soft and smooth. My experience: I never thought I would be so excited about a BED SHEET! Just as advertised; this was LEGIT 100% CERTIFIED EGYPTIAN COTTON. I highly recommend it!

I purchased these sheets because I can't locate the Egyptian cotton sheets I have purchased in the past. I double sheet my guest bed and I HATE ironing sheets and I also don't care for wrinkled sheets on my guest bed. Well, I waited waaaayyyy too long to try these sheets out and I will have to say the first wash they didn't seem too bad. After the second wash I HAD to iron. I have an Electrolyte front load washer and dryer, I had them both set to the reduce wrinkle setting and these sheets were bad. The fitted sheet looked OK because it is tight on the mattress, but the two top sheets had to be ironed. The tops were all bunched up. Our aunt stayed and I asked her what she thought, she didn't think they were as soft as the previous sheets and has significant experience staying in high end hotels. She said they were probably worth the $230.00 a set, but since I have to iron they definitely are NOT! If you don't mind wrinkles they are nice substantial sheets. The packaging is beautiful, I am so disappointed. I was convinced I had found my replacement sheets for all our beds, but I don't think so.

We recently purchased twin XL beds that sit next to each other appearing as a king size. They are 16" deep and sit on adjustable frames. We were unable to find sheets deep enough and tight enough to stay in place. I purchased one set for each bed and crossed my fingers. What a pleasant surprise. The pockets are deep, the elastic on the fitted sheet is 360 degrees, plus there are additional security straps at the corners! Nothing makes them budge! Plus, they are nearly as soft as silk. Worth every penny if you have special requirements.

These sheets were beautifully packaged. They are very soft and do appear to be of very high quality. I washed my sheets, per the instructions, ONCE exactly as directed and noticed a tear the following morning. I've had many {many} sets of luxury sheets, and have had my mattress for four years I've never experienced a tear like this. I did contact customer service and they did replace my sheet, which I appreciated. The second wash, again exactly as per directions, one of the pillow cases also tore along the seams. These sheets are extremely fragile and delicate - beautiful, but for the price they should hold up better than this.

I like the feel of the sheets they’re a little on the thin size. I really liked the Wamsutta dream zone sheets which they do not make anymore from Bed Bath Beyond. I bought the king size set because we upgraded from a queen My mattress is a black beauty rest (top Notch) which is a very thick mattress and these sheets after washing them are loose on my mattress. The queen pillow cases fit ok but I bought an extra set of standard pillow cases to match. These pillow cases are huge on my standard pillows. I’m a bit disappointed and these sheets are very pricey
