If you're looking at reviews for l-theanine, you're likely already aware of the benefits. If not, it's an amino acid that helps to promote relaxation without sleepiness. I love coffee, but I hate the jittery, nervous energy followed by the later crash. Adding a scoop (scoop sounds weird ... it's a tiny spoon, probably 1/8 tsp) to my coffee eliminates the jitters and I don't feel like a slug mid-afternoon when my morning caffeine wears off. It's also helped reduce my anxiety. This is a very fine powder. I don't know if it dissolves or not, I can't tell. On its own, it has an odd, slightly sweet, slightly meaty taste. I can't tell it's there once I put it in my coffee, though. The bag is a zip-top. Mine wouldn't re-seal after opening. No big deal, I put the contents into an 8 oz jar.

I’ve been feeding this to my anxious dog and do see a difference. Less pacing. Less licking and getting under my feet. Seems more content to lie down and just be content. I will order again.

This stuff is much easier on my stomach than the pills, and it is very potent, but the package broke within maybe four uses. That means I have had to store it by folding it over on itself, and I’m sure that’s not as good for retaining the quality. Please make a more rigorous zipper that won’t fall apart instantly!

The quality of the supplement is pretty good based on price. The pricing is reasonable compared to other market brands and by far will last you a while if you take it every day, I would definitely buy more in the future.

Coffee is good and bad. I was sensitive to caffein in coffee, so, I was not a coffee drinker, rather, I have been a tea drinker. But I wanted to use coffee without the negative effect. L-Theanine takes away all the negatives and leave, even enhance the good part of coffee. When I tried Micro Ingredients' L-Theanine in late afternoon, it did not affect my sleep negatively. Now I enjoy a cup of coffee with L-Theanine after lunch, I can keep my energy up after, and still go to sleep easily. Very happy to use high quality L-Theanine.

Bought two large bags of this to see if there was a difference between brands, but haven't used it in a long time and still have most of the first bag left. Just get a small bag unless you're a serious fiend 😁
