I don’t leave reviews very often but this stuff deserves one. I’ve been using it 2-3x/week for a month. I started using it preemptively to avoid hair loss in case my DHT levels spike a bit from starting testosterone therapy (yay menopause). So far so good, no extra hair shedding. If anything, I’m shedding less than before. And, surprisingly, my hair is super soft and shiny. I didn’t buy it for that, so it’s a bonus for me. The first time I used it, it seemed to make my hair kinda dry, but I kept trying it and I’m glad I did. I think that first wash removed built up residue from my prior shampoo and conditioner which would explain why my hair seemed dry at first. That issue has definitely resolved, my hair looks great. Purador products are amazing! My hair was so damaged and stumbled upon these products starting using them consistently and wow!! My hair feels & looks great! I can actually wear it down and no more clipping it up! If I could I would give this 100 stars! I recommend these products 1000%!!

    • The product works, but does it feel like I have more hair?
I've been using the shampoo and conditioner for about 3 weeks now. I think the product does what it's supposed to do as an anti-thinning treatment. The amount of hair that I lose when showering and blow drying my hair is noticeably less. I would guess that hair loss has reduced by 50%. This product isn't a hair growth serum as I understand it, so do I have a full head of hair? No. If you're trying to reduce hair loss, then this product is effective IMHO. Shampoo -- this "earthy, natural" scent smells just like a Sol-ti Ginger Super Shot drink that you find at the grocery store. It's not my favorite scent, but it doesn't bother me. The conditioner smells GREAT, though. While the shampoo tends to dry out my hair, the conditioner adds a great soft texture to it. I'm going to finish the bottles and see what happens. So if you are expecting to lose less hair, then I'd recommend this. If you're trying to grow a bunch of new hair, I don't think that's the intended use of this product. ... show more

After 3 weeks I have noticed my hair brush doesn't have any extra hair. I don't have lose hair and it feels thicker. Give the product a few weeks to work.

    • Scent-sensitive to the conditioner
I like how the shampoo and conditioner made my hair look and feel. It made it shiny and enhanced my natural curls. I did not find the scent of the shampoo to be objectionable, and it washed out completely. The conditioner smelled good, but it gave me a headache. It does not have artificial fragrance, but the scent is very strong and long-lasting. I even put some in an open dish for a month hoping the scent would dissipate. Nope! Have been using this product for several years to grow new hair (for hair thinning and hair loss) which happens with aging. Along with taking an oral product that suppresses DHT, these do exactly what they’re supposed to do. You’ve got to be consistent and patient. In my fifties my hair texture changed and menopause has caused dramatic hair loss. I've tried just about every over the counter hair product to help restore, repair and regrow my hair. I've been taking vitamins and changed my diet and that has helped alot but my hair had no body no life no matter what I used. When I saw this on Amazon and read the reviews I figured what do I have to lose.. I'm beyond pleased. It lathers up quickly. A little goes along way even with the conditioner. I allow it to work its magic for a few minutes . Right away the feel of my hair before conditioner feels clean but not stripped of all my natural oils. The conditioner is silky and again little is needed to do the job. The scent is pleasant. Not overwhelming and rinses well. After using a couple times I noticed little fall out when combing . The real magic is when I begin to style it with the blow dryer. I purposefully did use any styling products bc I wanted to see what the product did without any help. I had more body and lift at the roots than I'd had in a long long time and my hair was still that way the following day. I don't wash my hair daily so this is huge. I've read some of the bad reviews my response to that is, this product will yield different results for different types of hair. Not everyone has the same experiences with the same products. What I can say is that from my own experience I love the results and can't wait to see what it will do in the months ahead.
