  • More like chocolate chip cookie
How come nobody told me this thing literally tastes like chocolate. I use it every night after dinner as my hair vitamin. I take it with food because I don’t want it to hurt me on an empty stomach. It was recommended via all the girls on YouTube and TikTok. But I finally figured why not come to Amazon to buy one for myself. I can’t wait until it goes on sale again because literally it taste like chocolate. It’s literally one of the best tasting vitamins that I’ve ever had for a liquid vitamin. Now I will say that it is thick which I did not expect it first. Much thicker than the other Mary Ruth products but I have no complaints. Remember to shake it before using it. I can definitely say I feel some thickness to the roots of my hair and I am happy about that. Love a full head of hair and I think this is doing the trick along with some clean eating and lots of water. They say almond cookie, but it needs to be chocolate chip cookie. I love it. And why do you not sell a bigger bottle Mary Ruth? We need that in our life. ... show more

  • Support your health!
Okay, the taste is not that bad. I will say it is an unusual taste/texture as it needs to be shaken before you take the dose. It does work, but I am still new at taking it. I will try to report my results once I start taking it consistently. There is no side effects for me and digests well. I put it into my ninja creamy homemade ice cream and it tasted amazing with a dose of normal caramel syrup! ... show more

  • Love it! Fast hair growth and great flavor!
This is my second bottle, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I loved the first one so much that buying a second bottle was an easy decision. The taste is absolutely delicious, and I mix it into my morning coffee every day, which makes it so easy to stay consistent. The price is definitely worth it considering the results I’ve seen. My hair has grown so much since I started using it. It’s not only longer but also feels much fuller and healthier. I genuinely love this product and will continue repurchasing it. Highly recommend, it’s 100% worth it! ... show more

  • Too Sweet
Unless this thing does the Rapunzel on me, I don't think I can do it again. It does have a nice flavor, but it's so sweet. I have to let the spoonful sit in my mouth before swallowing due to how sweet and thick it is, ewwww! I purchased this because my daughter says her hair has grown in nice and thick with the peach mango but she had to stop due to her hair growing in too fast while getting laser treatments for her pits. My son used this one due to losing his edges after using the once Dr. Bronner's, now "Magic" soap. This specific formula grew his edges back. Once this bottle is done, I will order the Peach Mango flavor. This bottle is the same size as the peach mango, does the same thing, yet is way more expensive due to the addition of a few different ingredients. When I asked Rufus what is the difference between this and the peach mango, Rufus said the only difference was the taste preference. I believe this one has Pumpkin seed oil; other than that, the price point between the two is insane. I decided to brave it yesterday and drink this in coffee. The only good thing is that it broke up the sweetness, but I will not be so brave again. Though it tasted fine, it left a medicine taste after every gulp. I didn't remember that flavor while taking it in one gulp from a spoon. One last thing! It would be nice to know if this makes anyone else sleepy? I am considering taking it before bed because this thing invites the sand man who comes with a smile on his face and vengeance in his heart. Have I seen results with this bottle. I did see a little with the filling in of a bald spot at the top of my hair. I will order the other cheaper flavors since I know someone who saw results. ... show more

  • Cracked the code on flavor🤤
It tastes WORLDS better than the other liquid vitamins from this brand; it’s literally like eating caramel or cookie butter. I just got it today so I’ll update on hair growth; just wanted to brag about this flavor!

  • It Works!
I am on my fourth bottle of this formula and even with not being super consistent I’m seeing an increase in my growth rate and density. I had a ton of shedding and breakage last year from stress and despite my best efforts at rehabbing my hair I wasn’t making much progress until I decided to try Mary Ruth’s. For those wondering I started seeing less shedding on my second to third bottle and now my hair is flourishing; it’s a long journey but I’m thrilled to be cutting off old damaged hair as healthy hair grows in. The trick is to not depend on this entirely and keep up with hair treatments, protective styles, and trims. ... show more

  • Excruciating stomach pain and nausea
Please do your research! I wish I had read the negative reviews as well. As soon as I received this vitamin, I was excited to try it. I've had Mary Ruth's brand in the past and I never had issues. I felt very confident that this would be okay. I've had their biotin gummies, their liquid multivitamin, and their hair growth multivitamin. None of those have caused any issues for me except for this one. I had the recommended dosage of 15mL around 8 or 9pm. By 12am, I felt discomfort in my stomach and did go to the bathroom. When I woke up at 5am for work, I ended up vomiting and feeling extremely awful. My body was shaking a bit and I was feeling a lot of pain in my stomach. Around 10am, I couldn't take it anymore and vomited. I had Pepto Bismol and it did not work. I couldn't throw up or go to the bathroom so I thought taking milk of magnesium might help so I took that. Of course, it worked however the discomfort and pain remained. The next day I felt the same. I thought, well, I have to try and eat something so I had a couple pieces of watermelon, about 4 or 5 diced pieces and right after that, I felt so much pain. From 1 to 10, it was 100. I had to leave work early and took myself to urgent care. Urgent care advised me to run to the ER as they couldn't help me. The ER ended up giving me an IV of pain killers and nausea. They also prescribed me with stomach cramps meds, nausea meds, and Tylenol #3 for pain. They recommended I follow up with my primary care. It's been a day since I went to the ER, I stopped the medication I was given to see if the symptoms have subsided; to be honest, not really. As I'm typing this, I feel discomfort and cramping however, the pain is not as excruciating as it was yesterday when I took myself to the ER. This is the kind of pain that caused me to be hunched over, couldn't walk straight, and had me crying to the nurses. I was crying because of the amount of pain I was in. The doctor pressed on my stomach to check which area hurt the most and god... That was so much worse. I don't wish this upon anyone. Please, please be careful. All I had was 1 of the recommended dosage for the very first time. I don't know what happened. I don't know if I'm allergic to any of the ingredients. I don't know. But I'm never trying this ever again in my life. I lost my money and hours at work that I can't get back. I pray that I'm better tomorrow because I'm terrified of this developing into something worse. I hope this review helps someone. I also have proof of having an IV and receipt proof of my prescribed medication if this were to escalate. Please. Do your research. Be careful. ... show more

  • Caused bad acne, expensive, tastes good.
I wanted to love this product but it gave me such bad acne. It tastes good, but after finishing the bottle I noticed minimal hair growth and it’s very expensive. After 3 days of using it, my whole face broke out in acne. That’s very unlike me, I almost always have clear skin, but I’m also 6 months postpartum so I thought perhaps the acne was hormonal. It stayed for the WHOLE month and was some of the worst acne I’ve ever had. Upon my online research, I found that excessively high levels of biotin in supplements, can cause acne in both men and women, but specifically women. Within a week of finishing the bottle, the acne started to calm down and although I now have marks on my face that will have to fade, the acne is finally gone and hasn’t returned. I will be avoiding high levels of biotin in the future in any hair skin and nail products. ... show more
