This cable management tray has helped me tame the cord and power strip chaos in my office. It is easy to set up and install on your table/desk. One thing I didn’t think about when ordering is how much easier it is now to plug items into the power strip now that it is at desk level. Depending on the layout of your desk/table you can put the box under or on the side. It has holes on both ends to run cords to and from.

I ordered this when I realized I hated the way a bunch of loose cables looked under my desk. Just put it together and it took me about 20 min to do. Mainly because you can choose which way you want the basket to hang and I screwed it on wrong the first time. So if I had stopped to realize that, it would’ve taken me 10 min. There’s grippy pads so that your desk doesn’t get ruined and so it doesn’t slide off which is a plus. It also comes with Velcro straps, I don’t know what these are for. I’m assuming cable management so that’s what I’m using them for.

Let's talk about this Punmoy under desk cable management tray. First off, the size is impressive – it's spacious enough to handle a tangle of cables and keep your workspace tidy. However, the assembly process was more of a challenge than it needed to be. The wire cages came bent out of shape, and I practically needed the strength of Hercules to get them into submission during assembly. It was a bit frustrating. The screws that adjust to tighten onto the desk weren't smooth either, making it a real workout to get them in place. Interestingly, I had two bags of parts in my box, but at least all the pieces were accounted for, and a few extras were thrown in for good measure. One small hiccup – there are some sticker pads/cushions included to protect the desk, but they aren't mentioned in the instructions. You'll need to spot them on your own. Overall, while the size is impressive and it gets the cable clutter under control, the assembly process could definitely use some improvement. If you're up for a bit of a challenge, this cable management tray might still do the trick. 🖥️🔌🔩

I like the concept of this thing. I have a mess of cables under my desk bundled together using Velcro strips and J-hooks screwed into the bottom of the desk. This device looked like a possible solution to help clean this up, while also reducing the number of Velcro ties and hooks. After taking this out of the box, it took less than five minutes to assemble – and part of that time was screwing in the clamp to provide a bit more room to reach the upper bolt location in the basket. There are stick-on rubber pads for the bracket where it attaches to the desk and for the round clamp head. An extra bolt and nut are included for attaching the brackets to the basket. Make sure you have enough clearance to attach the basket to your desk, if you are unable to move your desk. The bracket is about 3/4" wide and about 1-3/4” long, so if you can’t move your desk you’ll need either 1-3/4” clearance will work to attach the assembled bracket (less if you can angle the brackets to hook them onto the desk) or if you have at least 3/4" inch clearance, you can turn the brackets sideways (without basket attached) and then rotate them into place and then attach the basket. My desk does not move, and I could not get the clearance needed to attach the basket clamps, either with the basket assembled or unassembled. So, I put together a wooden bracket, attached that to the bottom of the desktop using screws and then clamped the basket to the wooden bracket. It kind of defeats the purpose of having a clamping mechanism but allowed me to hang the basket under my desk. If I could have used the clamps directly on my desk, rather than needing to use a wooden bracket, I would have given this item 5 stars. I have a mix of Ethernet, USB and power cables under my desk and used the basket to organize eight of the power cables (mix of 120V and low voltage.) The power strip is located about one inch below the basket, and I was able to get the excess lengths of all eight power cables into the basket. This included adding two additional low voltage power supplies I’d left unplugged due to the previous tangle of cables. I tried to run all the cables into the basket from the holes on the ends, but one power block/plug was a bit too large to fit through the hole. Overall, I was quite happy with how well this worked to organize the cables.
