Description

The next generation of thermal imaging sights has arrived with the development of the Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XP50. Utilizing a highly-sensitive 640x480 thermal sensor, the Trail 2 can distinguish miniscule temperature differences during rain, fog, dark or extremely cold conditions. With a full-color 1024x768 AMOLED display and 2x-16x magnification, every tiny detail for up to 2000 yards will appear crystal-clear – and built-in video and still-image recording with 16Gb of internal memory allows users to store footage. Its integrated laser rangefinder is state-of-the-art and features 2 modes: Single Time Measurement and Scanning Mode, allowing the shooter to adjust quickly for changing distances. The Trail 2 also boasts a 3-second startup, variable digital zoom up to 8x, 4 color reticle options, picture-in-picture mode and IPX7 waterproof protection. Additionally, the Trail 2 has Wi-Fi, compatibility with the Stream Vision app, up to 5 zeroing profiles and a recoil rate up to .375 H&H, 12-gauge and 9.3x64. Bought this thru a fellow police officer, not thru Amazon. All I can say is the lazer range finder is what I had to have! If you hunt places you are not familiar enough to know your landmarks for distancing purposes, the LRF is a godsend! No more missed shots because you guessed the wrong distance. It is a solid unit and does it’s job well. The things I’m not crazy about is that I haven’t been able to learn how to down load directly to my iPad so I can look at what happened right after the shot. I have to wait till I get home and download to my computer. I’m sure this is user error, none the less it is frustrating. Battery life is less than advertised, but I run a power bank. Word of advise that was told to me and has been correct. “ Never look thru a scope you can’t afford!” After looking thru this scope I sold a CanAm Maverick to get the scope, Bobro QD mount and a tripod set up! Now I can’t get to half the places I used to be able to go and hunt from! Lol, love and learn and buy once/Cry once! ... show more
