My front room air conditioner does not keep the bedroom cool. This is so perfect. I can't believe how cool it is. My Son-in-law installed it without too much trouble. The ac unit works fairly well, so far. I just installed it. As far as the plastic tube and window exhaust are very flimsy. This has prompted me to return the unit, sadly.

It was easy to assemble the hot air discharge pipe. It cools well but it is not quiet. Also, the first time I used it, there was a smell that was unpleasant. I’m guessing it’s because the unit is new. Hoping it goes away over time. The instructions say it should be on a dedicated circuit. No bedroom has an outlet on a dedicated circuit unless one is deliberately installed that way. I’m not unhappy with it and I use it on the sleep setting at night. Had I known about the dedicated circuit instructions, I may not have bought it. ... show more

I got this unit about in August of 2023. It's now June of 2024 and I've had the unit for less than a year. I used it in August and September of 2023. The unit produced cold air but was never able to cool off a whole room. I had 2 ACs and had to use them both. If you have an enclosed 10x10 area this unit would cool it off. Anything bigger and you'll need more BTUs. I didn't use it much in 2023 and turned it on again in 5/2024. I ran it pretty much everyday, 24/7 and 6/25/2024 the unit stopped producing cool air. The flow of water wasn't coming out anymore and I suspect a water pump might be broken. If you tip the unit and remove the excess water, then the unit starts cooling again. But you have to do it every 15 minutes manually. Otherwise the water doesn't come out and the unit stops cooling. So essential this unit is broken. I used it for about 4 months out of the year I had it. I just ordered another better dual hose unit from Amazon. So I have about a week of heat to bear. Buy at your own risk! Update - 06/24 The unit was not cooling off. Water would build up but then when you tilt the AC it would start blowing cool air again. And then the pump kicked in about 2 hours after of running it. Now it's working like before except I keep it at 70 degrees. Instead of 62 like before. Water comes out normally. And keep in mind I run this 24 7 non stop! So so far so good. Definitely worth the price... I'll keep you updated. Cancelled the other AC for now BTW. ... show more

Great buy if you are looking for a AC unit that is easy to assemble and brings comfort to a room by controlling the temperature in a room. The size was péfect as it didn't take up alot of room and the remote control is easy to use.

First off it’s loud! Set up was very easy. Cooling is not the best. Using in my bedroom to keep the dog cool. Puts out cold air but does not bring down overall room temp very well.

I use this for my room in apartment. My rooms window faces the morning and most the days sun. Room would get so hot it was like a oven. Problem solved great price and cools the room to the point I am in a blanket at times. Love it.
