I had high hopes and was very excited about this unit, but it was dumbed down once I received it. When assembling this, I noticed some issues immediately. The vents on the top of the dome were broken, so they couldn’t be adjusted. Also, there are no grooves or anything for the dome to set into. It just sets how it sets. Smh. The frame with wheels that the unit sets on wouldnt even fit the unit because the designed didn’t allow spacing between wheel mounting holes. With the nuts tightened to hold the wheels on, the nuts made the gap between them too narrow for the unit to set on the frame properly. Have had a lot of fun cloning basil, tomatoes, green beans, catnip and strawberries. When I added 1/8 tea spoon of Superthrive to the rez i had roots starting within three or four days. Changed the rez every four days with tap water after giving it a scrub with a drop or two of mild soap and a new sponge. I will have a big head start on my outdoor mini garden.     • Works, ones without cloning gel popped quicker

The top has metal pieces to better support the canopy I believe, but no clue how to use them they are too long to really fit anyway I can figure. Canopy sags a little as a result but did not create a problem I got 100 percent propagation with 7 PH tap water. Half I used rooting gel half I did not. The half without rooting gel popped 2 days quicker. One is to assume some rooting gel would have made it into the water. Humidity in room is 50 percent, temp has been a steady 66 ambient. Did not check temp of the water. Cuttings never got sad in the unit. I have pump running 15 on 15 off with a Viparspar XS1500 about 18-20 inches above the canopy dimmer set to 0. Noticed water leaking, thought it was from the tubing holes. So I patched those by folding a piece of tape over the three unused holes. Still leaked. Found a wet spot where the plastic was thin, patched with Gorilla Glue Patch. I bought it for the price, so a leak that is easily patched wasn’t the end of the world ... show more
