Style: Aim Controller Bundle
The Aim controller is a game changer for first person shooters in VR. I am a former soldier, so I know how to move tactically and hold a rifle in real life scenarios. The Aim controller mirrors that "feel" of a real weapon and proper hand positioning better than any other controller I have ever used or seen. It really pulls you into the game. Firewall Zero Hour is a good game as well. The whole concept is based around team based combat, and it feels realistic. You don't know what is around the next corner, and the AI enemies offer good resistance. I am not a hug fan of how long it takes to level your character and unlock new weapons. It feels like a bit of a grind to even advance to the first 5 progression levels. Overall, the game is great and the controller is perfect for it.

I hate writing reviews, but this game is great and worth a try. If you are on the fence and have both PSVR and PS+ then this is a must buy. The community is great, devs appear to be listening to the playerbase. Gameplay is unparalleled, immersive and addicting. With future patches inevitably fixing minor issues like host migration and party consolidation (sometimes it will take a bit to find a game if you party up with 4 people then queue for a game). AIM controller is sleek and well worth the investment with the bundle, I cannot imagine playing this with just a DS4 controller. The immersion is insane with the crazy angles you can naturally peek with the gun; I've found myself reaching over a balcony to blindfire fire at people below me. Level progression is fine, a little grindy for my tastes but no microtransactions that give players a definite advantage. I'll take grinding over that. Weapons are very balanced --you could kill the entire team with the base kits and skill alone. I'm level 10 and haven't needed to buy a new weapon. If I could make a bet, you will likely soon see this bundle replacing the DOOM VFR bundle around the holiday season. I believe this game is a PSVR system seller and with a little love down the road from developers with added game modes it would potentially create a new FPS empire a la CoD/R6.

So finally got my copy and aim controller today and it was well worth the money. This is easily one of the best VR games in my collection and I believe it’s going to set the bar high while getting new people interested in vr. The graphics are beautiful(for vr standard) the gameplay is fun, and one you find the sweet spot for your camera distance the aim controller works wonderfully. In my first night of playing my cousin and I couldn’t put it down and at 4 am I had to quit because I needed some sleep. First night and I’ve already formed a squad of guys all with mics and all very decent players. I’m Looking forward to the future of this game and the VR road ahead.

Perhaps it's just me BUT whether I have my light on or off, the Aim Controller doesn't sync well with the camera. Every now and then I need to move it around regardless of where I am standing. When it DOES work properly which is about 90% of the time, it works pretty well. When it comes to the game, with people now buying the PSVR and Aim Controller as I have noticed (my sister, my friends (IRL/Online)), I can see this game becoming something bigger than it is. It does need a bit of work done to it but it's a fun game overall. I really enjoy playing it and communicating with other's online. I also got this bundle because I am a fan of FPS games and while doing research, this ended up being a great game to get.

A friend of mine who is a PS4 fanatic told me I needed to buy the VR and this game. So I just got the VR headset with camera and this game for the first time today. I have never tried VR before. I had no idea it was this good now. I thought it was going to suck like Nintendo’s gimmick they had once the VirtualBoy. This game is better than any arcade game I’ve ever played. I’m blown away. I’m still getting used to the controls, but they are not complicated I’m just old. The graphics are photo realistic in some parts. The gun you hold in the game certainly is. Plenty of missions that are fun. I know one thing, when ever Sony moves to the PS5 and they offer VR I will buy it ASAP. This thing is everything I wished VR was like. I’m truly impressed.

I refer to my headline when reviewing this item as many my feel cheated if thats the word after buying the controller. Yes it is for VR games only and there are a limited number of those that you need a gun-shaped controller to get the benefit from. Firewall Zero was fun to play with the controller but I think sitting down to play is not the best way for this type of game as you need to feel more part of the action as the character is standing a lot of the time . The idea of purchasing this controller was that I am looking forward to the SNIPER-ELITE VR version after seeing the demo gameplay using this controller. Overall I am pleased with the controller once you master where the switches are which are aligned the best they could I supposed with a gun-shaped controller.

The box comes with the controller and game, but NO charger or charging cable. The controller is fine, but who sells a product without a means to use it? If you purchase this product, you must ALSO buy a compatible charging cord/cable or it is useless, unless you already have an extra compatible USB charging cable. NOWHERE does the product description on the box or site state that you are required to obtain a power cable separately. BUYER BEWARE !!! PS... There is absolutely no way to charge this controller with a docking system, so if you’re thinking about That shortcut/hack, sorry but Sony made sure that That was not an option.
