I have put together the two turquoise Adirondack chairs that I ordered, but I have not put together the two lime green ones as they have just arrived. As soon as I open the box, I can give a review on the green ones. The turquoise chairs were easy to put together as a 70+ year-old woman. They seem sturdy and comfortable. A little bit of mud that I got on them was easily cleaned with a wet paper towel and water. I do like the slide out cupholder on the arm of the chair. These chairs are well-made, but I’m not sure if I would call them oversized. I have other chairs that were some of the first Pollywood chairs made 10 plus yearsago and they are considerably larger across the seat and back area. But, these chairs are certainly large enough to accommodate large people like myself. ... show more

Very good quality at the dock chairs. Nice large size, very comfortable, head rests on the backboard, it feels heavy and feels like real wood. It was very easy to assemble. All bolts were stainless steel, highly recommend this product.

My wife and I decided to get these to donate to our local golf course. The course superintendent was afraid they would be cheaply made, would blow away with the wind, and not support some of the heavier golfers who visit the course. Each chair weights a bit over 40 pounds and is rated to be able to handle up to 350 pounds. When the superintendent saw them, he was thrilled. They come in an assortment of colors and are wonderfully packaged and mostly preassembled with only 6 parts to assemble using only 12 stainless steel bolts with the supplied Allen wrench. As reported elsewhere, these sit slightly higher than normal which is great and the curved seat makes the chair quite comfortable. The pull out cup holder is a nice bonus but I wonder how long they will last. I guess the only concern I have is the bolts coming loose over time. I wish they had dipped the bolt threads in "Loctite" or some similar product to alleviate that. If the bolts do loosen up in the future, I will remove them and apply the thread sealants myself and that should totally alleviate the possibility of loosening. I want to stress this hasn't happened yet. ... show more

Lovely chairs. Went together easily. However, be aware that bug spray with deet will ruin the chair. I had it for all of one day before I found that out. Now it's all sticky. Seems stupid to make an out door chair out of a material that reacts to bug spray- something you often use outdoors while sitting in your chairs. ... show more

Right off the bat I will say I am a larger middle-aged woman with some physical limitations. I had an Adirondack chair from a different company that I wasn't totally happy with. I had some problems gracefully getting out of that chair, and I was less than happy with how the color (white) was aging over the years. I read hundreds of reviews of different brands of chairs hoping to find my Goldilocks Adirondack chair, and decided to try this one as other reviewers had mentioned it wasn't quite as low as many others and was easier to get out of. Plus the size and weight capability was a plus, too, even though I'm nowhere near the weight limit. So....the chairs came, each box was very heavy and difficult for me to maneuver. I had also ordered a side table and one ottoman and I decided to assemble those first. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy they both were to assemble, and that gave me confidence to tackle the heavy chairs. Once I got the pieces out of the box, it was much easier to proceed. There were only six pieces to assemble for each chair, and it was fairly simple. MUCH EASIER than previous chairs I had assembled. I did struggle a bit with the weight of the back piece, but managed it alone and took my time. It didn't take long at all, and I'm really pleased with the look AND the comfort. They are not quite as low as stated, the back has the perfect slant, and it's very easy to gracefully get out of this chair. The cup holders are a great little bonus, and tuck completely under the arm when not in use. The only thing I'm slightly disappointed in is the table- it does wobble slightly. Not enough to not use it, but just enough to be annoying. I will second what others have said: do not completely tighten everything until all the pieces are in place. I highly recommend this chair, and suggest any color other than white due to my previous experience with how this white material ages. I bought brown in this set, and fully expect to have it for many years. I'm thinking of buying a rocking chair from this company as I'm so impressed with everything so far. ... show more
