  • Are you serious?
I am simply stunned by the quality of this guitar at this price . Set neck, body and neck binging , block inlays on the fretboard , high output pickups. Mine came setup to perfection also which does occure on occasion but hardly ever especially for a cheaper guitar. All I had to do was tune it, stretch the strings and tune it again. The intonation is on , no fret buzz , low action . I believe there are 10's on the guitar which what use anyway. Some reviews stated that the pickguard is scratched . I think these reviewers fail to realize there is a layer of removable plastic over it . I am not a KISS fan not am I Paul Stanley fan . I've also wanted a full sized Iceman and when I saw this for $299 , I had to buy it. I had the smaller IC120 model , didn't like it. I don't care that it is a Paul Stanley model, a great guitar is a great guitar . It only has his signature on the truss rod cover and it's in cursive , kind of looks cool. A win for me and probably will be my main axe. ... show more

  • Great budget PS120 with minor imperfections.
UPDATE - 10/20/2021 Turns out the there was a thin layer of protective plastic on the pick guard and silver trim and made it look easily a scratch-able. Took it off and it looks even better, it’s still plastic but doesn’t scratch nearly as easy. Still worth buying it a year later. It’s my favorite guitar and everyone is always complimenting how awesome it looks. Original review below This is a budget version of the PS120. Same full size guitar, just different hardware and different trim. With that being said, it was worth it in my opinion. The fret board is nice and and it plays and sounds top notch. I took it to a luthier to get a setup since I play drop tuning with thick strings came out to around $50. Only problem is some blemishes on the white trim. Almost looks like black paint dropped into the white trim slightly. and the “chrome” pick guard and plate below the saddle isn’t metal at all. It’s this reflective plastic plate that is EASILY scratched and does not buff out. Easy fix to get a mirror wrap over it. Other than the cosmetic imperfections, this guitar plays very well. It looks good at arms length, the imperfections are only noticed if you give it a close inspection. But no one would probably notice if they sat next to you whole while you played it. In my opinion the guitar is worth it for the price. Save $600 dollars on this than buying the $900 PS120. Shipping was good, didn’t have a problem and it wasn’t damaged. I suggest you take it to a luthier just to make sure it setup to your liking. Out of all the other guitars you can buy for this price, this one is worth it in my opinion. ... show more

  • Great guitar!
Nice entry level guitar without spending a ton of money. Looks great! Sounds great! Neck pickups sound smooth, bridge pickups sound crunchy! Exactly the sounds I was hoping for.

  • PS60 KISS collector guitar
There are several versions of this guitar being sold....PS120...PS60 and PSM10. All of them are fairly similar in appearance, quality and price. The Ibanez Paul Stanley signature series guitars can be played, but there are better quality and sounding entry level guitars in my opinion like a Squire Strat or an Epiphone Les Paul and they cost less. The PS60 and similar guitars are made to look good....and mine does. The chrome plastic parts are covered with a protective plastic film and there are several reviews that complain about scratches on the chrome parts. If you peel away the film the chrome looks good. I am storing my PS60 in a glass cabinet and in 20 years I can sell it for 10 times what it is currently worth. ... show more

  • Affordable classic
This guitar is a great purchase with great playability. Plays great with just minor adjustments to the bridge. Neck is straight and no issues with the frets. Just a great value.

  • Great guitar.
Guitar is very light but has a great sound. Only issue I have encountered is the nut is slotted too deep causing it to fret out on the first fret. Planned on replacing with a graph tech nut anyways so no issues.

  • I love it!
Can't beat it for what I paid! My only gripe is the sharp frets!
