Wanting to switch up my look for my PS5 disc edition this caught my eye as being different. I was impressed with the build quality and the finish when I opened the package. Installation was simple, first finding the locking point then screwing it in. The PS5 does look cool floating above the chrome circle, even with its shell in Sony white color. It doesn't look gamer oriented, but screams different. Everyone first seeing in person will definitively takea double look, or more. The only minor negative I can find with this stand is since the stand is a circle that has to accommodate both disc and digital versions of the PS5 of different thickness and weight balance, the stability is slightly off. Meaning, the side with the disc and more weight, is less resistant tipping and falling over if accidentally physically bumped. If you have the PS5 Digital, then there should be no issue. I only say minor issue because I have been using it for the last month without a problem. Recommended.

Based on the image shown, esp. the one with the cat pushing the PS5 over, I expected this to be wider to make it more stable, this is not the case, this is exactly the same size as the factory one that came with the PS5. I put this on top of the original one, they are the same exact size. Both have about the same rubber pads. Install: Easy, flip your PS5 over, pull off the factory stand, and use their screw it comes with, and install. Easy to do. I will admit, this does look nicer with the chrome look on it but, the benefit of making the PS5 stable (from falling over), I don't think that will help. Even the original one had rubber on its feet, same with this one. If you're not looking to change the look of your PS5, I would skip this one...

I purchased a few of these stands for my PS5s because, in my opinion, they are the most premium stands available aside from the original OEM stands sold by Sony which are very similar to these. They work well, are super easy to install, and simply enhance the look of your console while providing additional benefits.
