I just purchased this book to use with my boys. I can not wait to get started!!!! I've read through some of the lessons, which offer different activities to choose from, depending on your families interest. Each activity clearly provides a great demonstration of the scripture lesson. I really believe this will work well in our home. It certainly isn't the family devotional I had growing up. This is going to be a blast as I walk through scripture together with my family, and create memories at the same time! ... show more

If you're wanting to instil Biblical principles into the lives of your children---and have family fun while you're at it, I highly recommend all of the Family Nights Tool Chest books! Each 'family nite' in these books uses activities and object lessons that make the learning not only fun, but rememberable! I also love the fact that the supplies needed are usually things I already have on hand! No matter what ages your children are, the Family Nights Tool Chest books keeps them in mind and offers age appropriate adjustments!
