I bought this after dropping my $100 Magic Mouse 2 from Apple. I've dropped my mouse a few times before, but never from the height that I did this previous time. Luckily, I only had a small chip in the front (covered by the mouse case) that's barely noticeable, but it did get me thinking I should invest in something to better protect my mouse. I was fortunate enough that my mouse didn't break, but I've seen others that have after falling from the same height mine did, if not, even less. I have casing for almost all of my Apple products, why should my $100 mouse be any different? So, I purchased this mouse cover. It's nice that the sellers include plastic-like protection for the mouse, but after reading other reviews about how difficult it was to install it, I decided to scrap them altogether. The sellers include two though, which I think is thoughtful. However, the mouse casing itself is OUTSTANDING! I was really worried about finding a mouse covering that would be comfortable, not look too cheap or tacky, not affect usage, and fit nicely. This mouse covering does all of that and more! I really enjoy the red coloring, it goes with the rest of my red accessories. I also enjoy how this mouse covering does not cover up the whole mouse entirely, and leaves space on the front of the mouse for the sleek black design to still show through. I also really like how there's a cut-out on the bottom for where the legs of the mouse are, resulting in gliding and functionality of the mouse not being affected whatsoever. The hole in the top allows for all functions of the Magic Mouse by Apple to still be used, such as sliding from page to page, zooming in, zooming out, etc. which is great. The functionality of the mouse is not affected AT ALL, which is amazing. I'm not sure how I feel about the texture on the sides of the mouse yet, but I think they're a good thing. It adds a little bit of comfort and texture that you can feel while working, although it takes a little getting used to. Overall, I really recommend this casing for the Magic Mouse by Apple. It looks great, looks sharp, feels nice, and adds the protection that I was looking for to my Magic Mouse. I would highly recommend if you are looking for that extra little bit of protection for a $100 investment that WON'T affect the usage of the mouse or the functions that the mouse offers in colors and design that look great. When the cover finally got to me (first one was stolen) I saw that it was a little lighter than what it looks like on my screen. However, it fit like a glove and does not impede the movement of the mouse which is important. I did not want to put the clear protector over the mouse out of fear that it might have an effect on the mouse's sensitivity so I can't really comment on that. I do appreciate that it comes with the cover and who know perhaps later on I'll give the surface protector a try. Otherwise, good product and fast shipping.

Really wanted the Mello cushion to help with my hand/wrist pain from this ridiculous mouse. My Mac is a company laptop, so I didn’t want to risk leaving the Mello residue on the mouse. This silicone set works great to avoid that. It’s soft, still have all the sensitivity and functions as designed. The only con is that silicone catches everything (lint included), so keep the area clean or have to wipe down the mouse a lot

Pros: makes mouse less slippery, flared edges make mouse easier to steer, enhances the grip and more comfortable to use. Cons: Overpriced (but a great idea) and a quick solution to the slippery mouse. Conclusion: I like the little covers I've bought 3! So far, I've not experienced any stretching deformation on either of my 3; and, would buy again if necessary!

I was extremely disappointed with this protective case for the Apple Magic Mouse. The quality is noticeably cheap and flimsy, offering no real protection. It's not drop-resistance which defeats the whole purpose of having a case in the first place. Does not fit properly, it feels loose and insecure around the mouse, making it almost unusable. I will be looking for a better quality protective case.
