  • Nice upgrade for kids over standard case
Style: Slim contoured profile Color: Black
If your child will be lugging their sax on the bus, etc. - this is a great upgrade. It makes it much easier to manage the sax while carrying backpack or other items. The bag is lighter than the Yamaha hard case. They can hand carry, sling over a shoulder, or wear like a backpack. Well padded so the horn feels very safe. Good storage options on the outside including a place for sheet music without being folded. My ONLY complaint is I wish the main storage compartment had some structure so all the reed cases, grease, etc weren't loose. I got my child a zip bag to better keep track of things and prevent them spilling out on the floor when the case flops open while the compartment is open. Other than that small issue, its a great case. Highly Recommended. ... show more

Style: Slim contoured profile Color: Black
Got this for my 12-year-old son. He has to carry a large binder for school as well as his saxophone and has a 1/2 mile walk from the bus stop. This backpack has stopped (almost) all the whining about his walk home. Have had it for over a year now with no issues. Its held up well and protects his sax. ... show more

  • Worth the price
Style: Slim contoured profile Color: Black
My teen was getting annoyed lugging her alto sax and its hard, heavy case to and from school several times a week. The hard shell case that came with her sax is big, bulky and awkward to carry. This was a perfect solution - keeps her sax safe, offers backpack and shoulder straps that tuck away when not in use (in addition to the carry handle and a subway handle), and fits in her school locker. And there is a large outside pocket that holds a music folder. If your child has to transport the instrument regularly and is going to play for at least a few years, this is a solid investment. ... show more

  • Rugged and Convenient
Style: Slim contoured profile Color: Black
This exceeded my expectations. I have a 4th grader that uses it for school band. The case is compact and light, making it easy to carry either with the handle, shoulder strap, or backpack straps. It also has the perfect size pockets for plenty of accessories, including a 10-pack of reeds, mouthpieces, and strap. There also is a larger pocket that holds a standard 8.5x11” music book. Despite the convenience, the case has a hard shell, well padded interior, and snug fit. I wish I had ditched the bulky hard case long ago. ... show more

  • Practical, efficient and protective
Style: Slim contoured profile Color: Black
Well made and efficient. My Alto sax fits in easily but securely. There is really good padding all around although the outer covering is canvas. I believe this case will and does a good job of protecting the instrument. May not hold up if thrown off a building roof, but, I don't usually do that. It has a top pocket that is good for holding your reeds and other small items of that type. You have different options for carrying. As a backpack type for which the back straps are perfect, over the shoulder or by either of the two carrying handles, one at the top and the other along the side. When it is on my back I hardly know it is there. ... show more

  • Does not fit older models of saxophones.
Style: Slim contoured profile Color: Purple
bought this hoping it would fit my daughter's Alto Sax. However it's not a "one-size-fits-all" kind of deal. Her case is as old as her late 70's model Italian saxophone and one part of the case just does not allow it to close. If you have a new model beginner sax this may be the option for you as the case itself looks extremely durable, and it is lightweight. I loved that it's colored and not just black like every other case out there. Hoping I can figure a way to make this one work. ... show more

  • Strong case
Style: Slim contoured profile Color: Purple
I bought this in 2016, this case has been so good that after 2 years I want to recommend it to other people. My son has been using it since he was in 5th grade, the original case that came with the sax was broken shortly afterwards without heavy use. This case is still going strong. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Great quality and features
Style: Slim contoured profile Color: Purple
Great case. Fits our Vito alto sax perfectly. I was concerned since so many others said their sax was too big, so I measured our's: 22.5" long, 9" wide, and the bell is 4.75" across. People didn't lie when they say that the outside pocket doesn't fit much; we can get our neck strap, cork grease and extra reeds in with no problem, but it will look very bulky/overcrowded if we take the shoulder strap off the case and shove that in there as well. The backpack straps are well concealed behind a piece of material secured with Velcro (sounds cheap, but it's not), which means they're easy to get out for use and easy to put back when you don't want them. And the detachable shoulder strap is well made and easy to attach/detach. I love that there are 3 ways to carry this (handles, shoulder strap and backpack), and it's considerably lighter than our traditional case. Very well made and solid; we're not compromising on protection for convenience with this. ... show more
