First time Mom used it, she was in LOVE! It provides more than enough coverage so her skin isn't exposed and the reflective silver exterior makes it feel 10+ degrees cooler. The first time we used it, it was 90 degrees, but under this umbrella it felt like a more comfortable 70. Bought this for my son thinking it was a regular umbrella. Instead i received exactly what i ordered - a massive umbrella. It’s effective but just too big for him. However if you are looking for a large umbrella this is the one.

This umbrella is a large, well made product. The opening and closing mechanisms work well. I am using it for protection from the sun while playing golf in Thailand. It is vented which is supposed to help prevent it from turning "inside out", however, in a few instances the wind has over powered the umbrella, and it has turned inside out. Now, being aware of this possibility, I'm very conscious of positioning the umbrella facing into the wind. ... show more

Ok, for coverage. But still feels hot, like its slowly cooking you, while protecting you from uv. Also, wind quite easily inverts it. Somewhat heavier than standard golf umbrella.
