Full disclosure, I have yet to break these boots in completely. They fit very true to size, and are extremely wide for those of us that have a very wide foot. That's a hard thing to find in a shoe these days, especially when you have a 14 and 1/2 sized foot. My one complaint is that they are quite stiff even after several dozen outings. And they are rather large, and the best way that I can think to describe them as clunky. They're not exactly overly heavy, but they're just bulky. With those negatives out of the way, they are wonderfully waterproof, they are roomy and comfortable for a person with a very large and wide foot, their stylish looking, and they manage to hold up well under rough wear and tear of a large person. I would recommend these to anyone else who has an extremely wide and long foot, and is looking for a nice waterproof boot to get through a winter. I'm hoping that they will loosen up a bit once they are fully broken in, but there's stiff nature is not enough to keep me away. I only wish that I had had this brand available in the past, because they are a quality Boot at a wonderful price.

I got these to replace the couple of pairs of keen boots I have gone through, which I love but they just don't last, they always seem to split where they connect to the sole of the shoe, sucky. Hate spending that type of money on boots that fall apart in 6-9 months. I will say that at first I was not happy with these ones (Propét Men's Ridge Walker Hiking Boot), because it certainly seemed like the right shoe was a bit tighter and taller by about 1/8 to 1/4 inch. However, I was curious as to why and pulled out the insole, at this point I realized there was another insole in the right shoe. So, when I reduced the right shoe to a single insole it solved both issues, tight fit and taller, and now fits as well as the left. I will admit I haven't had them long and haven't worn them in rain, but have walked in snow and my feet do stay warm, quite warm actually. I would almost say that they are like hot boxes and I don't think wearing them in warm weather would be advised, but we will see. I do enjoy them so far and only time will tell if they will hold up.

I bought these because they are labeled 5e and I have very wide feet. These are not even as wide as a 2e in Dunham boots. Quality seems respectable, but unfortunately because of the incorrect sizing they are being sent back.

Great value for the money. After breaking in I hiked the bottoms of Providence Canyon in Lumpkin Ga. and my feet stayed dry. They are very comfortable for hikers, but I just wish they were a little better in the non slip department.

I have previously bought shoes from this manufacturer and they lasted me six months. Something recently happened and the quality of production deteriorated. I bought two pairs of shoes because there was a good sale. After a week and a half, 2 lace loops tore from the body of the shoe. I changed to the other pair of shoes, and here too, while tying the laces, my loops broke. I will not buy any more shoes from them.

It has been tough for a fat guy with extra wide feet to find a good pair of boots. After reading literally hundreds of reviews of multiple brands of boots, this is the one I settled on. I have super wide feet that hurt all the time. I do maintenance and live in Michigan so I am in and out in the cold and snow all the time. First impression.. nice boots super light and feel great on my feet. First day at work.. feel great, fit well and good support. My only complaint they came untide several times during the day. Two weeks into the boots.. my feet do not hurt after 9 hours of work. They still come untide several times a day. I hope that will stop after a few more weeks of break in. I would definitely recommend the boots to the working man or just to wear around the town. I will report back after a month or so to let you know how they hold up. Just my opinion, but you will not be disappointed by this pair of boots. Your reviews helped me I hope this will help you. Just an update after 2 months of wearing the boots. The laces that come with the boots are junk.. had to replace them. Boots are holding up well and kept my feet dry after 6 hours in wet snow. I will buy the boots again.
