I normally wear 4XE width shoes, so when I ordered these I ordered the 5XE width. They fit slightly tighter than my normal 4XE, but not Uncomfortably so. My daily 2 mile walk is taken on desert dirt roads consisting of hard pan, soft sand and gravel with undulating terrain. The boots held the terrain firmly, securely and comfortably. Very happy with my purchase.

Nice looking boots. Lots of padding on the collar. Very easy to get feet in and out of with since they unlace easily and the tongue goes down pretty far (although this means they will not be waterproof past the first set of eyelets). EVA midsole is very squishy, especially in heel, for great shock absorption. Other reviews are correct in that these are pretty narrow. I got the 5X and they're really not very wide.

The width runs smaller than posted. It’s more of a standard wide (2E) than a 3E. My foot is at a measured 3E and it’s tight right on the ball of my foot and forward through the toes. It feels like it runs like a tight 2E. Due to the toe cap, I don’t see it stretching out at all. Return it is. Another style in the same brand runs accurate though, this model runs a bit narrower. The quality looks great though. Really wish it would have worked out.

The best fitting pair of boots I own. They are lightweight, comfortable and offer good support. Hopefully they will also be durable, but as I only wear them occasionally, will take time to see.

I love these ProPay hiking boots, I use them for work boots cuz they're more comfortable then a standard work boot. I bought two pairs so far from a brick and mortar store for about $125. Saw them cheaper on Amazon so purchased here. Same model number and everything as the ones from brick and mortar store that I've been using. These are not the same. These are not comfortable. They feel totally different I'm not sure how things with Amazon work exactly or if there's different manufacturing process that's cheaper for Amazon stuff or if they're boot like completely but these are not the same boots that I've been wearing. I return them despite their being half the price, not comfortable and feel cheap
