These shoes have good support and are quite comfortable. They feel solid and well-constructed but are not heavy or clunky like some hiking shoes can be. I don't walk through puddles on purpose anymore but I've noticed that these definitely repel water in the days when it's rained here.

Got incredible deal before Christmas in ordering these shoes. I was going to get Merrell which I have had before and they were very comfortable and sturdy and lasted a long time. After walking in these a dozen times since receipt I can attest these are every bit as good as my favorite walking/ hiking shoes. Their water proofness was tested in rain, puddles and even snow and held up very well. They have a thick material and excellent soles for grip to avoid slips. Fit as expected, my job requires me to walk 4-5 miles per day onto and off of construction sites. The shoes are little heavier of a than I expected, that's why only 4 stars. However, extremely comfortable from day 1. Will certainly recommend them
