The media could not be loaded. This proyector surprises me, great resolution for a nice price, the sound is not good at all but you can add your Bluetooth speaker easily, even with illumination the definition is very good, I'll plan my movies nights with this.

Now i have a Epson projector as well for work, that is awesome and works well at dusk, this needs to be dark to work, however the picture is nice, sound is great but speaker is in front of projector does not work well if you are sitting behind it in a yard, for me does not matter, i hook it up to a sound system, it is great for the price, i would recommend this projector unless you are willing to purchase a $900/$1000 projector, just don't think you can compare the quality of the two. But for family night in the back yard or watching the game, i think it is worth it. ... show more

    • Full 1080p detail in a cost effective big screen solution
1080p is still the standard for video content that looks good, and this projector will put a fully detailed projection on a massive screen! The focus of the lens is adjusted manually but is easy to use and has a wide range, it worked 12ft away as well as pretty close. The full resolution image has decent colors, smooth motion and clear detail. I was able to use it in a room where a some daylight leaks in, of course it is best used in darkness. In brighter/normal lighting the video will look dim. The projector is tall because it has sizable speakers. Thanks to the relatively large speakers, sound is deep and loud so you don't necessarily need external speakers for a decent auditory experience. The speakers can be connected to by bluetooth as an option, you can still send audio to the projector through other wired connections like HDMI. The projector consumes 64W as measured by a power meter, and I was able to power this with an AC capable power bank. Most car's cigarette ports would have no problem supplying power to this through an inverter as well. The bright light needs aggressive cooling. Exhaust comes out the left side and is quite warm, 125F in an 85F environment as measured by an IR thermometer. Putting my hand in the path of the projection, I feel no heat at all thanks to the LED. While LEDs theoretically have a long service life, the quality is still variable and I have had low quality LEDs. Plus, other components such as fans may fail earlier. So, while there is no indication of bad quality in this projector, I also cannot say that the unit as a whole will last the full 55k hours. The hard plastic is nothing fancy but not bad looking either. For portable use, a pleather strap is included with a small slit to allow easy attaching/ detaching. It carries the projector securely. There is also a mounting hole in the bottom if you want to affix it somewhere more permanently. This projector is not waterproof so make sure to check the forecast if using it out doors. Like most lower price projectors, brightness is not adjustable so if for some reason you want to dim the lamp light, you cannot. In terms of value, at $110 ($140 with $30 coupon) this projector is a normal price for LED projectors with native 1080p. If you go cheaper you will end up in the territory of 720p projectors that support 1080p input. In summary, if you would like a big projected screen to watch Full HD movies in darkness and get decent speaker audio, then this is a great projector! ... show more

    • Good for the price and portability, but don't expect miracles!
I've been a fan of using projectors for in home movies/sports for a long time - you get most of the benefits of a GIANT (100"+) TV screen without having something that big on your walls all the time (or the expense of it). Lately, I've been using them outdoors as well, but moving a nice home theater projector outside is a pain as most require external speakers and whatnot. And most portable projectors don't have great image quality/native resolution OR break the bank for what is fundamentally an occasional use item. This projector (mostly) fills that gap. It's definitely portable, though not the smallest, and easy to move around. It has good brightness and sound for the size and it does appear to be native 1080p which is a huge plus if projecting off a laptop. It has a tripod mount (though you'll need a sturdy tripod) so you can put it up that way if you're using it outdoors or in a temporary scenario. The picture quality overall is somewhat disappointing - it's a bit grainy and the colors aren't wonderful, I've seen a 720p projector that did better on both fronts - but it's definitely serviceable for an outdoor family movie night. And at the end of the day, that's where this fits - it would be a fine first tentative step into the projector world for someone on a budget and good for portable/outdoor movie nights, but for this price and this size package (considering there's a speaker in there), don't expect a true "home theater" experience. ... show more
