    • Arrived with a entire key missing.
When I got this product, the 'A' key was totally missing. Not even the wood block was there. I ended up taking them apart and using them as targets. It would've been cool to shoot them and do a simple little song when i hit them but now I just have them torn apart, hanging by some fishing line and are okay targets. They do make a very satisfying ping. Now from a percussionist background, these are very entry level. Like toddler level of course as described in the title. The keys feel well built at least for a toddler to smash and toss around. No complaints on the build quality. Packaging was awful. Cellophane and a very forgetful box design. Didn't need to be all fancy - just would've been nice to have a full scale to work with. ... show more

I love this xylophone. My 9 y/o was playing with a little tykes xylophone and was actually playing music. And some of the keys were dull. They weren't jingling like they normally would. But these all sound great. Very beautiful. But I don't really like how they're all separate. Maybe I'm used to seeing the kids toy xylophone. I guess this way you can put them apart and hit accurate each time and not hit the wrong key. This is a well made instrument. Love how the keys are carved into each of them, so you know what you're actually playing and not just guess them. ... show more
