  • BAD SUCTION DON'T BUY!!!
It didn't have enough suction to hold the diamonds, returned item for refund. Would have given it NO STARS if that was an option. No levels of increased suction.

  • Not Bad, But Not Great
The pen works as expected. The suction is gentle enough to not damage the drills. The downside is the price. For $40, I would at least like the chance to purchase multi-placing tips and not have to hold the button in order to activate the suction.

  • Not a fan. I'll just stick to the regular wax pens
This is the first time I've used one of these for my diamond paintings. While I don't like to constantly have to mess with the wax, I'm just not sure this is any better and after a few lines, I wanted to just go back to the regular pen and wax that comes with the kit. After a full charge, the suction was still minimal. It didn't save me anytime and I still struggled to pick up several diamonds. The wax would have stuck immediately. I wish that the button could click to stay on and turn off, but you need to hold it in. It's barely worth holding it to suction the diamond and while placing it on the picture. Only to let go for 2 seconds for the time it takes to move your arm to get another diamond. It might as well just stay on until you turn it off. This is also kind of loud which bothered me. It would be cool if it could come with an attachment that holds 5 or 6 diamonds at a time, I'm not even sure if it could work but I find those tips extremely useful. After researching similar vacuum pens, it seems like this one is on the most expensive end. Maybe because it's cordless? I don't know. I'm just not a fan of the vacuum pen. ... show more

  • Works great!
The media could not be loaded. Finally! Dimaplace nailed it with this diamond painting pen. For one, it's wireless. I gotten a couple other electric ones but they're required to remain plugged in which is fine but it's not every time I switch rooms that I want to drag my power bank along. But with this...shoot, I can safely place in my pocket and carry my diamond painting kit in one hand and snacks in the other. It's comfortable to use and does a wonderful job grabbing the drills. I like that there's a button to press when you're ready to pickup the drills; many of the other electric pens tend to remain on until you power it off, so you're stuck listening to a buzzing sound. In my opinion, this one isn't loud. It almost sounds like a tattoo needle machine to me. A couple of interchangeable tips are included. I do wish these were compatible with the tip heads like 7, 10, 15 so I'm not just limited to just adding one drill onto my diamond painting. But maybe it's in the works. ... show more

  • Disappointing Tool for Diamond Painting
I was hopeful about this rechargeable vacuum pick-up tool for diamond painting. The idea of a rechargeable option sounded like an upgrade from using wax pens, and I was excited to try something that might make the process faster and cleaner. Unfortunately, after giving it a fair shot, I have to say I’m not impressed and don’t see myself using it long-term. The main issue is the design, you have to keep the button constantly pressed to activate the vacuum. This quickly becomes uncomfortable, especially during longer sessions. What’s worse is that the second you let go of the button, the vacuum releases and drops the diamond. That completely defeats the purpose of having a steady tool, especially when placing diamonds with precision. A locking switch or continuous suction mode would have made this so much more usable. Another downside is that the tip is only good for picking up one diamond at a time. I really wish it came with interchangeable tips or at least one option that could handle placing multiple drills at once (like 3 or more), which is something I regularly do with wax pens. While the vacuum concept works in theory, it’s just not practical in execution. It has too many drawbacks for me to rely on for my diamond painting. I’ll be sticking with my tried-and-true wax pen for now. ... show more

  • works as expected
I was pretty excited when this vacuum pick-up tool arrived. It looked well-made right out of the box, and I liked how lightweight it felt in my hand. The rechargeable feature and no messy cables were definitely a plus. It came with interchangeable tips, which I thought was a nice touch for different sizes of beads or drills. Using it for diamond painting, it worked just as expected. The suction was gentle but enough to cleanly and precisely pick up and place the small beads without any wax or sticky residue. That part was really convenient and made the whole process feel a bit cleaner. The battery life held up well for my sessions too, which I appreciated. Where I ran into disappointment was when I tried it on a mosaic project I’m working on that uses tiny stained glass slivers. I was hoping it would be strong enough to handle those too, but it just didn’t have the suction power. I suppose the glass pieces were a bit too heavy compared to the much lighter beads used in diamond painting. Overall, for diamond painting it does exactly what it says. I just wouldn’t count on it for heavier materials like glass. ... show more
