The covers are so easy to fit into the ear piece without any trouble at all. Bose includes a small lever to help push the covers into the ear piece of the headphone. This is the second time I have replaced the covers over a period of 10 years.

I liked the fact that I didn't have to trash my expensive Bose headphones. The ear pieces were gummy and gross. I purchased another brand that were inferior !!! before realizing that all I had to do was replace the ear covers. Now I am happy to be able to use my Bose headphones again. This was a game changer for me. Easy to pop in the new covers with the little tool provides with the new covers. HAPPY

Original ear pads were literally falling apart. I was concerned that my expensive headphones may become useless. These replacement pads saved the day. A little manipulation with the provided tool and I’m back in business. Can’t comment on durability yet, but install was easy and feel is similar to OEM.
