I've been cutting my own hair every week for over 20 years using inexpensive clippers and I can't believe I waited this long to invest in a quality set. 1. Cordless clippers are a game changer. 2. These are light in the hand but feel weighted evenly and have a sturdy construction. 3. They are quiet but seem to have powerful precise cutting blades. It's so important to hear the blades cutting the hair when your cutting your own hair. The motor on these is a subtle hum making it very clear when your fading out those lines. 4. The guards are very good. They're plastic with metal clamps that secure to the clippers very well and will undoubtedly last the life of the clippers. There's so much to appreciate about these but it's hard to brag about something only people that cut hair would understand. I'm very impressed with my purchase and only disappointed that I waited so long to get them. ... show more

    • Solid Clippers Worth Every Penny

Packaging: Great and well thought out, there is just enough anticipation in opening it to make it a little exciting but not so much work to be frustrating . There are two USB charging cords, one each for clipper and trimmer and both fit snuggly into the bottom. They don’t come with a USB charging block, I bet they guessed correctly that most of us have a wealth of USB blocks from our phones and computers. Both my units came fully charged so I could dive right in. The power toggle is deliberate and I doubt a person will accidentally turn it on or off. The LCD window is easy reading letting you know about battery life. My comparative reference is from using a 15 year old corded clipper and I have been cutting my own hair during that time. Both items have enough heft to know the battery is stout and they feel balanced when using them. Clipper: The clipper is smaller than my old corded one but it feels good in my hand and being cordless means freedom and agility. The clipper guards are metal framed and fit snug on the blade — SUPER nice feature and worth their weight in gold. The size markings are also easy to read — THANK YOU! The clippers cut nice and even and my hair looks and feels “tight” with fewer passes. It is MUCH quieter than the corded which leads to what might be my only critique. I don’t actually know for fact, but using sound as my guide, these clippers sound a little less powerful than the corded which shouldn’t surprising, but they may not be less powerful than corded. That said there is PLENTY of power for my thick hair. Trimmer: Again, you’ve got some heft and good balance in the trimmer. The guards are wider than my old cordless which is nice. The only attachment I wish it included is a ear/nose hair trimmer — funny that with age comes wisdom and hair growing aggressively in places it didn’t used to! Overall I got exactly what I wanted and needed in a new set of clippers. My only parting comments are 1) make sure and oil the blades regularly so they don’t seize and 2) the product is just as advertised and I’m very pleased with my purchase. ... show more

Purchasing Novah clippers has been a phenomenal experience! I truly believe they are becoming the gold standard in product and service if they are not already! The presentation of the clipper set in the box is impressive! They are extremely well crafted! The built in digital numerical gage on both clippers is a wonderful plus! They don’t feel like cheap material but are heavy and strong enough to be taken seriously. The blades are sharp and they come with a variety of guards for both clippers for all haircut preferences! Novah’s customer service is extremely exceptional as well! They get back to you in a timely manner and mean what they say when they say that they are here for you to provide any product related support. Well designed Clipper set. Main clipper is properly weighted and cuts evenly. Professional level cutting with minimal fuss, helpful LeD display for pertinent information like battery is a plus. The T-trimmer for me works well on the beard but not as crispy and sharp for hair line edge ups. Haven’t been able to get a crisp line yet that I’d consider barber quality. Not that I’m a pro, but it just leaves much to be desired. Might have to get an Andis T trimmer. Overall, a good purchase with good performance and certainly beats weekly $40 hair cuts. I was pleasantly surprised by these clippers. They feel great in my hands and they are not loud. They came fully charged. I love that there is a battery life window plus you can use them while they are connected to the charging cord. The edger is spot on. The tutorial was a nice add on. I bought them for touch ups between haircuts but I may skip the haircuts altogether and start cutting my own hair. ... show more

I've been through numerous clippers and trimmers, trying to get the 'right cut'. I bought the Novah Professional Clipper / Trimmer combo (rechargeable). I chose this brand over several 'national brands' that are more common. I received the order on time and in good condition. Was packaged very nicely and professionally with all the accessories nicely displayed. So far I have used both the clippers and trimmers only a couple of times for some 'grooming'. Worked great in every area. I love the battery life indicator, as battery life is generally the top problem with rechargeable tools.
