Some might look at this as a children's toy, this is not a toy. We have an all volunteer orchestra at our church and I needed a Glock for our Christmas/Holiday concert. I nearly passed out when I priced a "professional" set of bells. Even purchasing a "bell kit" that kids use to learn percussion was double what I paid for this unique set of bells. First of all they fold in the middle and go in the case that makes it look more like a 3/4 size violin. The tone is beautiful and in tune.     • The keys sound great, just don’t expect the frame to survive (any) rough handling.
I purchased the Glockenspiel because of the description of the keys. I’m a avid woodworker and I had plans of building a custom frame. When the instrument arrive I was not disappointed, although I would have been if I was not ready to modify the frame. As stated in a previous review, the frame is made of thin lightweight wood. The joints are held together with a minimum of glue and very small nails. On the plus side I won’t hesitate to throw out the original frame and remount the keys. The keys sound wonderful, when inspecting the back of the keys I could see were material was removed during the tuning process. Let the fun begin! ... show more

Son needed this for school band. Very sturdy, good sound. I like that a carry bag comes with it. The mallets didn't last long though, they are a little flimsy.

Good quality. Came with all of the necessities. Easy to put away and unfold quickly to start playing. The only thing is the mallets are cheap. But for the price it's a good deal
