  • It’s good but not the best
Size: Size 6 Color: White Swirl Blue
I wanted a small acrylic brush to experiment with different brush sizes. I got this specific brush for the size (size 6) that I couldn’t find anywhere else. However, the brush was small but it was very thick so the bristles were hard to work with especially when sealing the cuticle area. The brush was not the highest quality to say the least. However, I think it’s a solid brush go start with as a beginner but in the long it’s much more efficient to get started with a good quality brush which will cost more. Quality over quantity! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kiara sky brushes. Smallest size I believe they have is a size 8. ... show more

This brush is pretty good and it is still holding up after a year. I did my research and found this one to be the best brush for beginners.

  • Professional brush requires professional knowledge.
Size: Size 6 Color: Purple
Amazing brush. I love the color and it arrived in tact. I'm a new loyal customer to Pana! (Size 6 shown). Also, I feel I have to share this to beginners.. you'll see most critical comments speaking on frayed bristles etc after only a use or two which usually 'screams' that the person didn't properly break in the brush. (If you're coming from Kiss starter kits etc that you buy in a pharmacy- THOSE brushes you can immediately use. They aren't for professionals & not meant to last long. Those $15 kit companies know that.) These brushes however have to be broken in, and cleaned well before & in between use. You must flick the starch out of the brush that gives it the shape it arrives to you in! I mean consistently for like 5-10 mins minimum. You'll see the starch particles coming out. Then I personally dip into a dish of warm water, letting any extra particles release- shaping my brush into its oval shape in between dips and forming the 'flat' side ALWAYS on the side of the brand name. I let the brush sit HORIZONTALLY (nice & shaped) for hours until dry. THEN i further cleanse with some monomer liquid & proceed to test it out. Hope this helps. YouTube has alot of tutorials as well. If the starch links with the acrylic powder- in my experience you might as well toss the brush. Lol. Unless you're amazing at bringing them back to life. There are tutorials on that as well. Remember to always research any tools deemed professional if you're a novice! ... show more

Not really for beginner. The bristles aren’t strong enough. Overall it’s a decent brush and easy to clean.

  • 50/50 purchase
Size: Size 8 Color: Mahogany
I'm honestly a little bit confused. I was looking for a new brand of acrylic brush to try to upgrade my kit to use on clients and after much research I found nothing but glowing reviews on the pana acrylic brush so I decided to buy it. When I first received it it was well packaged and secure. As I would with any other acrylic brush I began the seasoning process using my typical monomer. During my first use everything seemed quite well, the brush was picking up my acrylic powder flawlessly and enabled me to have great control over my bead placement. However the next day while doing a client's nails I noticed a small hair sticking far out above the rest. I thought nothing of it, clipped it down and continued working. However, by the time I had begin doing the second hand full bristles were being left onto the client's fingers onto the towel I was using to wipe my brush and coming up from the brush in general. This had never happened to me before even with much less expensive brushes I've used in the past. My brush was balding after only two uses. Despite this I was able to execute a well manicured acrylic set however unfortunately I will have to return the brush as I don't think it would last me beyond two weeks with the amount of shedding that has occurred in the past two uses. This is not a review of the Pana brush completely because I do feel that I may have received a faulty brush. I'm still deciding whether or not to purchase a replacement from Pana I'm just honestly scared that the same thing will happen to me again. In short, the brush itself is fantastic however the quality of the construction of the brush leaves much to be desired and honestly makes this purchase not worth it if all the pana brushes come across the same issue. ... show more
