I am a master grower, I use organic C02 for all my grows. I have used organic C02 in many different crops. Most do well some don't. When I bought this C02 product like everything else you hope you get something that works well and your money has been spent well. This product does indeed work well. It does have a odd smell to it but my very expensive plants love it. If you have been growing for yrs as I have, you can tell what works and what doesn't. I can't recommend other C02 products but I can this product. The red cap you are suppose to remove, don't. I drilled a 1/4 hole in it and it releases plenty enough for my plants! If you decide to remove the whole cap it release too much. My grow room is 12'x16' and without the cap I have discovered it release too much and you will smell it pretty strongly but by drilling a simple hole in the cap it release just the right amount and it does last for at least 4 months. I keep it going 24/7. If you spend a lot of money on your seeds like I do you want a element to do its job and correctly. This product will do its job! This was the biggest waste of money I've ever spent for CO2. All it did was blow white stuff all over everything in my grow tent, the plants, my lights, fans, the intake and exhaust....everything covered in white dust. I even put a couple things of panty hose over the exhaust tube and it still found a way to blow white stuff over everything. Don't waste your money on this, stick to the exhale bags it's my advice. This says it covers a 8'×8' area, but as I said the only thing it covered was EVERYTHING in my tent with white powdery dust, and the girls didn't respond at all, if anything it was hurting em. I've been using exhale bags for years and I've always notice a difference in the flowers from my girls. They were sold out of the XL exHale bags(which 1 covers a 6'×6' area) and the regular size ones too. So I thought I'd give this thing a try, it had mixed reviews but sometimes that's due to user inexperience. NOPE, it even brought the pH level up in my drain to waste hydro setup. Plus I'm an Ironworker and have worked in the trades for almost 30yrs, not to mention been growing high quality flower for a decade. So I know it's not me, thank God the bags came in stock a few weeks later. My girls are back to where they were before this expensive bucket. It's a great concept and idea don't get me wrong, but it needs allot of work before I'll even entertain the thought of buying another. ... show more

When it was working for the first three months, I was very happy with the CO2 level it was producing. Since it stopped working the other day and my CO2 meter started reading ambient levels of CO2, I am not so happy. It says in the description lasts one year. To boot, the return window on this was only 30 days, and I can't find a way to contact the manufacturer through Amazon to find out about any warranty it might have. I'd appreciate the seller contacting me. Will update if they do and with their resolution to the problem. ... show more

Works great! 4x8 keeps it around 800-1000ppm. In a 5x10 about 600-700ppm. Recommend like 3-4 of these in a 5x10 space and 1 or 2 for a 4x8 or less. Works well if air exchanges once or twice a day for 10 mins or less. High humidity and I usually have my space heater up high blowing on the tub. Seems to works great for me. Been using them for 2 years. It peaks about a month in and last high for 9months then slowly diminishes at the end of the year. Dont leave the thing plugged in use an environmental greenhouse controller or a timer to ensure short intervals. Keep vapor pressure deficit perfect and these tubs works great. ... show more

I bought this product xl proc co2 88$ it came in bucket looked fresh and new no damage well I saw the label on the back said 08/18 so I got skeptical then and opened the bucket to find big clumps of moldy matter and a old pump you could t identify meshed in with it not blowing any air. The air pump was suppose to be attached to the top of the bucket but the 3 sticky came off years ago it looked like. I think this is helping my plants quite a bit I haven't really paid enough attention to whether or not there's enough in there and I'm concerned with maybe the fan blowing it away from the plants because my fan does not sit on the floor it is hung up in a corner directly behind the bucket very well seems to be anyway ... show more
