I have spina bifida, and I’ve pretty much been able to do almost everything anyone else could do the majority of my life, but when I got into my 40s, I developed scoliosis and some other back illnesses that started to cause me debilitating pain as well as limiting my ability to walk. so one of my PT people had me doing certain exercises with yoga ball to help with the scoliosis and keeping the spine stretched out because I didn’t have the money to buy one of those long carts that you go upside down and it stretches the spine out because that’s what I need. But she told me what size yoga ball to get because they do go by your height. When I first saw it, it looks so small I thought I had gotten the wrong size and this was never going to work… But then it has its own little pump, which is great because I worried about that too like what happens if it loses air? But you pump it up yourself and then you have the pump to add air because it does eventually lose air when you’re using it every day. But I use it three times a day. About 10 minutes a day to do certain exercises for my spine and I love it, and I wish I had bought one for years ago when all of this stuff started. They have cute colors, they are good price, they seem pretty sturdy, and it comes with its own pump. You really can’t ask for more. I use fitness balls in my daily workouts. Following the size guidelines posted, I ordered the 55cm ball. I’m 5’4”, and the ball was much too small. It took some back & forth email communication with the seller to exchange the ball for the 65cm size, but the seller was responsive, communicative, and helpful throughout the process. Wanted to use it in a wheeled desk chair holder for a ball. My big one was too big. When blown up with hand pump it was too small but husband used his air compressure and it is now the perfect size. It would be a ball for a child not an adult.

This ball lasted from April to October. So 6 months. Then it burst while being used. Feels great on the tailbone (no it doesn’t). Needs to be stronger and inspected better for any faulty areas.

** Update from my last review. I registered the ball with the company. Then I submitted a claim and explained the issue of the ball not holding air. They fully refunded me the money and said that if I choose to repurchase the same product they would fully cover that ball too. The new one is perfect!!! Hold air very well. ********** Old review: Good product but loses air too fast. My daughter uses the smaller size for her PBT class. The ball works fine but loses air quickly and needs to be reinflated after each use. It could be a simple defect but we can't find any leaks or holes. We even tried switching out the plug for the back up provided. ... show more
