I love the texture of this. It's for my foster daughter who has developmental delays. She's 5. 57lbs, 44 inches tall. She loves bouncing on it and because of the shape is less likely to fall off as she has more stability straddling it. It has ridges on it too which I think help it being more grippy so it's not at all slippery. The typical plastic smell faded after a day or two.
