We have purchased and used other wheelchairs in the past. While this is not a cheap wheelchair, it is an excellent value. Good quality construction. Frame is rigid so when pushing iver uneven pavement you don’t get the feeling the chair is goig to collapse or break. It rolls with far less resistance than the loaner chair it replaced. If you can afford the extra money, it is definitely worth considering. ... show more

I received a defective wheelchair from Alamed. I requested a return authorization to return defective product and now I am expected to pay postage for this return. I will not buy anything from Alamed again.
