Cannot use ProAim Risers with this unit because the Mitchell plate is not the standard thickness. The unit is slightly more milled out to accompany the bowl adapter. Maybe they reduced weight but not being able to use a riser eliminates any option for raising up camera for push camera moves. Bummer it took a lot of time to figure this out. ... show more

    • Glide is so smooth
The overall set up for this dolly was pretty easy. Since the dolly is on 16 wheels, I expected the glide to be smooth but after a couple of usage, I'm fairly certain that I won't find another manual dolly that can glide as smooth as the PROAIM Breeza. What I really like is tracks and legs provide stability that even when I fully equip my camera with all the attachments, the gliding ability is not impacted at all. Not only that, but the tracks can extend out or retract, depending on my needs, which I thought was great. There were a couple of things I wish were different. The item itself is rather bulky and having this set up in my already small studio was a bit of an inconvenience because I couldn't quickly stow away the dolly and tracks. Space is something to factor in if you're thinking about getting the PROAIM Breeza. The biggest drawback for me was the fact that this didn't come with a bowl mount. Given the price point, I would have expected this to have one included or attached to the dolly. Overall, still a great product and one that I will definitely continue to use. ... show more

EDIT: This thing is heavy. You pull it with the handle, you don’t try to lift it with the handle. Well, the first time I try to bring this out to use it, the handle immediacy broke. This make the case almost impossible to maneuver and transport. It’s not the dolly specifically but it sure makes using the using the dolly more difficult They responded quickly and are sending a replacement.. ]If you you want short, it’s 4 stars becuase it’s too expensive. It’s a 5 star item for a 6 star price. It is a fantastic item well made with quality materials. The dolly motion is buttery smooth and quiet. Keep in mind the track only supports 50kg at minimum legnth. At the 6 foot track, you’re limited to only 10. Read the fine print. The frame pieces are aluminum. The connecting pieces are some kind of polymer. So it’s not all metal. But the polymer doesn’t look or feel cheap, quite the contrary. The carriage has a safety mechanism to keep the dolly for accidentally getting knocked off. It has built in bowl mounts which is handy if you have leveling equipment. The dolly has adjustable height and feet. This is professional quality equipment albeit at a pretty small scale. It is heavy and takes a while to set up. It comes with a giant rolling case to transport it and keep everything all together. Did I mention it’s heavy? My big cab eat here is the price. It appears there are comparable products for half of what this costs. I haven’t evaluated them however. And a complaint is the quality of some of the items we get. So, the quality is there but you have to pay for it. Is there good value here? That’s a personal choice based on need, resources, and demand for quality. From the best I can tell, you can do better value wise and still get quality. But this is a pro level gear, the quality is there. ... show more

This camera dolly with track arrived intact in a weathered box. It came inside a nice, good quality carrying case. The individual pieces inside the case were secured in its own place and organized.
