If you are looking for a pair of cheap glasses these are the ones. Took them on a canoe trip and they withstood multiple droppings/ being thrown around carelessly. The lens did pop out once but popped right back in and did not crack. They kept the glare off the water and I have a sensitivity to light. They seem like they actually are polarized. The sunglasses are very light and do not press hard against your nose. The lenses seem to have very little distortion. It is of course nice to have polarized lenses as they cut down on the glare quite effectively. The price was very reasonable. My wife is notoriously hard on sunglasses... they either get lost, scratched or bent, so I refuse to pay big bucks for them. I recently found these and for about $8 a pair, they're a nice deal. They are nicely made with good, tight hinges and the metal arms flex well without permanently bending. The lenses are very clear, well tinted, and the polarization seems solid. They style is good and they're not ridiculously over-sized like some aviators. It's very nice that they ship with two cloth storage bags, two cleaning cloths, and a nice little screwdrivers for tightening the hinges and nose pieces. I bought the three pack to keep in the cars and one extra for the house. They aren’t the fanciest as far as build quality, but for the price they are really nice glasses. The polarized lenses work great for driving, giving you the clarity you’d expect. I’ve worn them for a few hours at a time and had no comfort complaints. I've only worn sunglasses several times in my life, when I was a Naval Aviator and the Navy gave them to me and when I was flyfishing to protect my eyes from the water glare and see the surface better. Occasionally I need them while driving and keep a pair in my pickup. Lost the last pair and ordered them as a replacement. If you want to spend a lot to impress others, they're not paying attention anyway, have at it. If you want a great buy on a quality pair that works this should be your choice.
