I bought this for my small half bath to help with the always gross smell that having 2 little boys causes in bathrooms. I love it and it smells amazing! I've had it for over 7 months and I'm only now noticing the scent is fading and isn't as pronounced. I'll buy this again for sure. I'm excited to try out some other scents! ... show more

Smells nice minimal appearance.

Smells nice minimal appearance. This arrived in a gift box type package. Simply remove the cork from the scent bottle and install the reeds. I’ve had well over a month and it still has sent. I ordered the larger bottle. I have not flipped the reeds but occasionally we shake the jar and it seems to reinvigorate the scent. The smell is a little bit less since we first got it which is pleasant. Very fresh fragrance. Live in a house of boys. No one commented about girly smells. ... show more

Scent: Japanese Ryokan Size: 1.69 fl oz
I really wanted a specific scent profile, and according to the description of the base, middle, and top notes, this seemed to fit the bill. Unfortunately, rather than a floral with woody, musky notes, it just smells like soap to me. It's not a BAD scent, it's just not what I was going for, and, in my opinion, doesn't exactly match up with the description. I did read others' reviews, which describe it as "clean," and forged ahead with my purchase, even though that's not what I was looking for, so that's on me. I do think "clean" is a good description of it. (But that's not my favorite category of scent. I like sweet florals, woodsy, and spicy scents, and this isn't really any of those.) If you like "fresh laundry" and "ozone" type scents, you will probably like this quite well. In terms of scent throw, it's darn mild, even with fully saturated and rearranged sticks - it's in my tiny home office and I can't really pick up on it at all, which is fine, because I don't love the scent, ha ha! I will try another brand next time, perhaps Sweetwater Decor, which I've had great results with in terms of both smelling as expected and in terms of scent throw. In sum, even if you love the scent, I found this to be a weak product and definitely spent more on it than I feel it was worth. Faint smell
Scent: Japanese Ryokan Size: 1.69 fl oz
I was so looking forward to this; and what a disappointment! It has a nice smell, but it is so faint, one needs to smell it right out of the bottle and it doesn’t make the room fragrant. Since I opened it, I can’t return it.

Appealing Scent.

The scent is lasting and not overwhelming. I have Reed Diffuser at my entry foyer and as soon as I step into house, the scent is noticeable. My guests have commented and said the scent is very appealing.
