I should have looked up the meaning of translucent. It is not clear. That one is on me. Using the recommended settings, the prints were beautiful. If you have waterproof ink in your printer, or if you use a sealer on the sticker after printing, it would be waterproof. My experience was that left untreated, the ink would run or smear if it got wet. Also, the sticker would come off. Not what I was looking for, but I am in the habit of spraying my stickers with a sealant. I will use what I have but will not purchase again. ... show more

So happy that I was able to print on a product that did not smear or rub off. I use a Canon tank printer and many other brands I tried smeared or never dried. I do recommend that you use a cold laminating clear material on top to add the ultimate protection. The only concern is if the adhesion holds up over time. I have a Epson Workforce Pro EC-4020 and the stickers I print come out perfect on ultra glossy, high quality, settings for my printer. They are dry in seconds, adhere well, and I didn't do anything extra to them like special coatings or lamination. They are perfect in water no issues there. I think if you have a tank printer or liquid ink printer as some call it these don't work like a good old inkjet does! ... show more
