We do a lot of events, so having this to use as a custom stamp or even as a fun activation for people is awesome. We can use any custom photo, and the existing selection of assets in the app is great too. It takes some getting used to, but it turns out that it just takes some practice to understand how to smoothly apply the temporary tattoos. Basically, don't put pressure on the skin and smoothly glide along wherever you want the tattoo to print, and it feels like magic once you get the hang of it. It's also nice that the tattoos come off so easily if you don't like how it looks or where it is. Literally use some soap on the tattoo and it rubs right off. Highly recommend if you host lots of events or just want a fun way to elevate an experience with friends!

When I say I really wanted to love this product. I really mean it. I have multiple real tattoos and though this would be a great way to 'try' some on or supplement the ones I have for those special nights out, vacations, ect. But this thing let me down right from the start! The product is packaged well and the ink cartridges are labeled clearly so you know where each one goes. The Color version comes with 2 cartridges for colors and 1 cartridge for black. You can either have the 2 color cartridges in or 1 black. With the color cartridges in, you CAN still do black. But it's not as vibrant and it leaves a hue of orangish color around the tattoo. No matter how many times I tried to reapply or change the speed at which I glided the device over my skin. I had the same result. And yes I am spritzing the applicator spray on my skin and letting it dry before applying. Printing small, short tattoos that are thinly lined are barely visible. Multiple people tried them on and all were underwhelmed by the result. Don't expect the outlines of say a elephant or dog or yoda to look that impressive. You will only be disappointed Printing tattoos that are either filled black or with color seem to come out the best. This is especially true with the longer length tattoos. It is about the only place that this device shines. Tattoos of multiple posed birds or dragons running down your arm look the best. Which is why they must use those as the prominent advertisement pictures. If this is where my complaints stopped, then I would have probably kept the prinker. But the issues continue. Moving onto the app. Downloading and installing the app was simple enough on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Pro. That's where the good user experience ended. Connecting the prinker to my phone took over an hour to get it to finally pair. The button to pair blends into the app and I was unaware you had to click the round P symbol floating on the artist selection screen. It almost looks like a watermark and not an interactable button. Once I figured that out, attempting to connect the prinker to my phone would go something like this. You choose your prinker device type, you click search, phone finds prinker, you click on prinker to connect. On the prinker you see the bluetooth icon and the connection attempt. After about 2 minutes the connection fails. I tried restarting the phone, clearing out ALL of my saved bluetooth paired devices from my phone, restarting the prinker, restarting the phone again. Each time, same result. I finally used my Son's old Pixel XL phone, was able to connect to the prinker and then do a firmware update. Afterwards my phone was finally able to connect! What a pain! Now onto the layout of the App. 1. It is very difficult to navigate the available tattoos to printer. The default images are broken down by a few artists. The search feature does not appear to bring up results for alot of things. But this SHOULD be ok as you can upload or create your own designs in the app. BUT, this app has the worst drawing UI I have ever seen. It is SOOO bad! It's almost not even worth using. Which is a real damn shame. Especially for a device that's whole purpose is to print tattoos on you! You can also find images online and upload them to use as a tattoo. The process of doing so can either be done by uploading the image directly or dropping it onto the canvas of the drawing app inside the app. The app does a good job at removing say a 'dirty' white background from an png or image online and leaving just the design. No need to make the background transparent first! Awesome. But it also has a really bad habit of taking an image that has some length to it and forcing you to still print it out in the wrong rotation. Lets say you find an image that is 3 times as long as it is wide. There is no way in the app to rotate the image 90 degrees and still keep the aspect ratio intact. In fact the app ONLY allows you to rotate the image 180 degrees in either direction. Even if you rotate the image on a different app by 90 degrees. When you import the image. It will still FORCE it into the wrong orientation. Making the end result tattoo much smaller than it should be. Example, a friend wanted a Celtic knot tattoo. Which is kind of like a long rope like design. The image I found SHOULD have made a tattoo about 1/3 inch wide by about 3 inches long. There was absolutely no way in the app to change the rotation so that it printed out this way. It forced the image so that the entire length of the rope was just the width of the print head. Then there is the subscription service in the app which just is baffling for how bad the app is. I can't believe they would try to charge you ANYTHING for this trash. Please, Please, Please! Don't be like me. Watch some reviews online, see how the users fumble with it. Notice how everyone ONLY uses the included graphics. How no one seems impressed by the short tattoos.. These are all valid issues they seem to blow over and I had little doubt every last one of them is a paid promotion.

Got the product as my 10-year old daughter’s birthday gift. I would say the product is a blast! The product was delivered on time and the manual was simple to follow even for my 4th/2nd grader kids. These tattoos are super easy to apply, literally taking only a few seconds. We can choose from different characteristics from the application or creating our own and all of us are already experts at applying the images on each other’s skins. On day 2 of the product’s arrival, we had about 10 neighborhood kids lined up in front of our house and they were all amazed at the images being applied on their bodies (even their parents loved it!). We found no harm to our skins and tattoos are easily washed off with water and soap. It would be one of the best products to all ages of the users because they are temporary tattoos that are washable and there are so many options of characteristics we can choose from (or create our own images). Would definitely recommend the product to those who want to enjoy (or show-off) non-permanent yet different types of tattoos for a few days.

This idea is great. The app was OK to set up and it seems fairly straight forward. We bought this for a Christmas gift for our kids and used it a few times after it was opened. We packaged the ink as instructed to store the cartridges, but after a few weeks, the cartridges are all dry and do not work.

Looking for a temporary tattoo that looks real? Prinker delivers...with a catch... it's great with words, letters and numbers; they look fantastic and easy to apply. However anything other than simple line art is not going to look good, especially with color. The yellow ink seems to overpower everything and there's no way to change it. I'd suggest just going with the black ink version.

I little difficult to use at first but really addicting when you get the hang of it! It does fade a bit when you run water even without soap. But it think it was my fault for not putting enough primer. Will try again next time I use it. In the end I thought it was worth it.

I'm not the type to leave reviews very often, whether good or bad, but I feel like with this, I would be doing the world a disservice if I didn't leave one. Because truth be told, it's not worth what it costs, or even half of what it costs really. Now, the idea, is fantastic! How they have implemented the idea, is great too. But here is the thing. So I own a small business and we do temporary tattoos for if your going out clubbing with your friends and you wanna decorate your skin with ink for the night. We offer several other methods of temporary tattoos other than Prinker, and thankfully goodness we do because if I relied solely on Prinker, I wouldn't last a single day. My first complaint, and this one is MAJOR. The machine connects to an app to pull the design to be printed over to it. That app has thousands of designs preloaded, and that's cool. But none of them, not even 1, say what size the design is going to print out. I know that the machine is limited to certain dimensions of tattoos that it can print out, but it would be nice to know ahead of time if what I was going to print out was 1 inch by 1 inch, or if it was going to be 1 inch by 4 inch? It doesn't say the size to be printed anywhere in the app, so you just have to guess I suppose? Idk. Then let's talk about another feature. You can upload your own designs and print those! How cool right? So I uploaded a script, it was a name, drawn on paper, and real life size was 5 inches wide, by 2 1/2-3" tall. The design uploaded successfully and it was time to prink! The size it printed out that design was a half inch tall, by 1 inch wide! It was microscopic! Needless to say, uploading designs seems to be a complete waste of time. Yeah it technically " does" it, but no one would ever be able to see what it is! Aside from those 2 things, it's super inconvenient to have to swap out the color cartridges and the black cartridge all the time, depending on what people want. And let's not even begin with the cost! I think it's $180 for color, $120 for black! I've wasted SO SO many of the stated 1000 prints because they come out super small. Then I end up having to give customers free ones because it's obvious no one would be happy with the results, especially when they are paying for it. So in my experience Prinker is a TOTAL waste of $500 bucks. And heaven for bid you ever run out of ink, it's $300 to replace the cartridges! I was planning on ordering a media kit so I could have a PRINKER area in my shop and really promote them hard, but for now that's on hold. Customer Relations go a long way though, so I suppose I'll wait and see if they have a response to this review and go from there. But for now guys, I'm leaning DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Money is too hard to come by these days to just be squandered on a toy like this

I would love to try this out, but at nearly $500, this should work at least on the first day out of the box. I got it to blink 0% charge and then had it plugged in for a while. Attempted to move cords, try different plugs, etc. Nothing seemed to work. After the initial 0%, I couldn't even get it to turn on. VERY upset. Not happy with this purchase.
