My window, including the frame, is approximately 56 inches tall and 98 inches wide. There is no objectionable smell. That's a plus. They are white on the back, so they won't absorb heat. They are not very heavy. I rinsed them and dried on low. They still had a few wrinkles, so I pressed them. I like the linen look, and they block the light very well. I have vertical blinds, as you can see in the photo where the blackouts are pulled open. The vertical blinds did not block enough of the afternoon sun. Bright light was truly a distraction in the afternoon when trying to watch TV. These blackout curtains really work! Great purchase!

Ivory 108” These are far better than any black out/ thermal/ insulated curtains/ drapes I have ever tried or seen. 1. They block out every bit of light. There is light from a different source on the left side of my photo. When all curtains are closed it’s like a cool little cave in that room. . 2. It’s summertime here. Temp is 90s with high humidity. They block heat from entering and AC from escaping. Our windows are warm to the touch under the curtains. The side of the curtain exposed inside are room temperature. Our home is significantly easier to cool and our electric bill has decreased since we started using these curtains. 3. They are heavy and very well made. Quality is excellent. They were wrinkled but the wrinkles have fallen out a lot over the past week. Steaming them works well. 4. I purchased Ivory which has no yellow undertone. They look like ivory should , in my opinion. Not bright white. Not grey. We are so impressed with the quality and look. I’m buying more for every room in my home. 5. You need a quality curtain rod. The curtains are heavy. We used a 1” metal rod with sturdy metal brackets and drywall screws.

My curtains arrived quickly and were packaged very well by Amazon. They did need a light pressing to get the package wrinkles out of them. Once hung, they drape beautifully. The weave of the fabric is tight, so I'm thinking that my cat (who looks out the window) won't get his fur stuck in the linen treads. The lining blacks out unwanted sun or I can close them for to keep the cold out and the warmth in. I really like that these are machine washable, what appears to be high performance fabric. They are heavy with an insulating liner, I would probably hang to dry or possibly place on low knits in the dryer and set it to run until they are just damp dry. Then hang to finish drying. They only reason I gave them just 4 stars, is one panel was a tad longer on one side than the other. A slightly crooked hemline. But I placed it in a corner, so it isn't noticeable at all in my space. If you have white blinds in the window, this color provides enough contrast that it doesn't make my white blinds look old or dirty.

They’re really pretty and they’re definitely black out ! I work nights so keeping the sun out is a huge deal I’ve seen other reviews of people having problems when they wash them dry them I would say from looking at the material do a gentle wash and then let them hang dry other than that I love them ! And a good price 🙂

I love these curtains. The linen look is so pretty!! They are the perfect sage color for my room. I ironed them using medium heat before hanging to get out a few wrinkles from packaging, but probably didn’t even need to do that.
