While I am new to the cold brew game I found this product to be great for a beginner. The insert inside the pot is a fine mesh that does a great job filtering out the sediment that comes with home brewing. I have found that the coffee does have a bit of a murky color to it. I have found putting it through a regular paper coffee filter does a great job of getting those extra fine particles out. The instructions say you should brew for only 12 hours. No issues with it at all. I only wish it was bigger but this allows me to make 3 of my typical servings at once. Easy to use. Easy to clean. I will say that I agree with other users that you need to let it brew for at least 24 hours, not just overnight - and I don't even like strong coffee. That is just for a normal brew. I recently switched to cold brew due to acid issues. This product is easy to use. The only thing I wish was different is a feature that can attach the filter to the lid so the grinds don't spill into the coffee. I only had that issue once. Would def. purchase again.

I really like this thing, no plans on returning it, but it is very hard to clean. The colored part isn't fully attached so coffee gets trapped under it and it is annoying to clean out and there's no way to get anything but water under there so it never gets fully cleaned.

I’m happy with my purchase. The pitcher is big enough to hold coffee that will last for the entire week, or at least 3 days if I drink more coffee than usual. I boil water in a kettle, let it cool, then pour it into the pitcher. The brew is stronger than the coffee shop’s because I let the coffee sit overnight, and I use Costa Rican coffee. I have been saving $25 a week by making my own iced coffee, and it tastes a lot better. I even bought a frother to make my iced coffee even more impressive. ... show more

Small and easy to clean and use. This is going to save me so much money on coffee!! Keeps for around 10 days not 14 like it says, but it’s usually all gone by then anyway. Would recommend. Takes up little space in the fridge also.
