hello, I own a welding and fab shop in TX small as it maybe I build custom made products I was hired to build a Custom-built Dogbox the one in the pics I provided In March I bought this PRIMEWELD MIG 180 Welder just for the spool gun so I could build this custom dog box and have the ability to weld aluminum faster than my normal ARC welding I own a Miller 215 Mig welder but do not have a spool gun boy they are pricey Anyhow I welded the entire box with no issues with the welder I have compared this welder to my miller as far as welding mild steel and remarkably this prime weld welder held up flawlessly, I kick myself for not buying this welder years ago when I bought my miller welder the ease of changing out guns is quick the change of wire is quickly done no fighting with the wire feed it's an all-around great welder you can weld spool gun reg Mig and ARC welding with this one welder comes with everything listed in the product description either you are season vet welder like myself or a beginner home garage shop DIYer i HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS PRIME WELD MIG 180 WELDER THANKS AND GOD BLESS

Got it working and it’s a very nice welder. Their support is incredible. My Harbor Freight welder has ZERO parts availability & NO support. This was a less expensive option with just as good as machine.

Welds really well. Arrives in a super solid box with lots of foam, so it arrived in perfect shape unlike my yeswelder that I bought. While this welder is more expensive, you get a spoolgun as well as gas regulator and hose. You would have to buy these items separately with the yeswelder. Also, this welder is rated to 3/8 mild steel and aluminum (1/4 for the yeswelder 205). All the settings for the machine are in inches or gauge thickness, which I like. No auto settings based on metal thickness or similar, but they give you the good ol chart inside the door. Works for me. So far I've only done one project with this, and the rest of my use has been practice on 1/8 and 3/16 steel. Provided settings are pretty good for those. No aluminum yet for me. If you are looking for a good MIG get this one. If you buy a yeswelder I will bet it shows up damaged--mine did. I returned it and bought this Mig 180, and it works great. I recommend it. Now to get an argon bottle.

This thing puts my old Hobart MVP 210 to shame! After my home use Hobart died mid project with less than 12 hours of use (control board blew out of warranty) I knew I had to get something else. I took a shot on this Prime weld based on customer reviews, and I’m glad I did! I prefer this Mig180 over every other welder I’ve used. Simple to operate, comes with almost everything you need to get starter, and just runs a beautiful consistent weld. I look forward to purchasing and trying out their TIG welder in the future.

Small size and surprising power . I have put this machine to the test. I use it in the field, it’s commonly exposed to weather and riding in a job box on a trailer. I purchased it to run plugged up to my bobcat 250 for light welding where a stick weld was too aggravating. Now i won’t touch the stick lead for anything under 1/2 steel.

Holds its own with any lincoln or Miller that I've used in my 15 year career. I bought this for my home shop and I've done everything from roll cages to floor pan replacements with it. Solid welder. I recommend this to everyone looking to get a new welder. Can't beat the warranty, customer service, price, or quality.

I haven't used the mig on it yet , however over a 2 day period I stick welded wear liners in a good size rock chute. Using 7018 rod. It didn't have any problems what so ever, never over heated or shut down. It's a good little machine.
