This is a clear vinyl swinging shower door sweep made with a double Tee shaped insert at the top. The 2 Tee's at the top are 5/32 inch and 3/16 inch If your shower door needs the 5/32 inch Tee, just insert into the channel. If your door requires the 3/16 inch Tee, cut the 5/32 inch Tee off with a sharp blade. Before installing this shower door sweep make sure the channel is clean and clear of any obstructions. I saw a number of mixed reviews which gave me pause before I ordered. I thought about what I would do if my product showed the same signs I saw in many pictures. The material is fairly compliant to the touch so when I took it out of the package and found the winding and rubber band memory I simply heated some water. While water was heating I wrapped the seal in the opposite direction of the way it was packaged, reinstalled the rubber band and when the water was hot I dropped it in. In two minutes almost all of the memory was gone. The product was fairly straight, still compliant yet rigid enough where it attaches to the shower door. I used the old seal to measure and cut the new one and was done in a matter of moments. Worked great and I'd order it again. I highly recommend it. ... show more

I purchased this same product seven years ago from Amazon. It was easy to replace then, and it was easy to replace now. It lasted 7 years, which is great for an affordable strip of plastic to keep water from getting out of the shower. Just make sure you slide the top part out of the metal housing on the bottom of the door before sliding the new one in. They always tear laterally. ... show more

Works perfectly for my metal framed glass shower door. After removing the bottom track and cleaning the gunk out, I took the advice of soaking the vinyl stripping in hot water to relax the coil. Took just a couple minutes to make it pliable, then fed it into the track and trimmed to size. Perfect fit and easy peasy! ... show more

Works as expected. A little difficult to slide into the door at first, but after more thorough cleaning of the door's track (hard water deposits), it slid in easily enough. I see a few people found the item slightly misshapen from the shipping. I stretched it out to its full length and held it that way for a day, and it regained its proper shape just fine. I have an idea, let’s take a strip of low grade vinyl that is intended to be a straight, long sweep at the bottom of a shower door and roll it up real tight for packaging. That way, not only do you have zero hope of getting to be straight again, you will have no chance of it properly doing its one and only job - keeping your bathroom floor dry. Once you wake up in the recovery room following the brain bleed surgery you had after slipping and falling in your wet bathroom, you *may* regret this purchase.
