Solid shower pan that was a breeze to install. I replaced a tub, and this pan fit after I made small mods to the studs. Because its large and decently heavy setting it down square is impossible, and my vanity was in the way, so I couldn’t just push it in. It didnt damage at all, even after being hit pretty good by the rest of the install process, this I appreciated since I’m clumsy. Instructions were so so. I heavily relied on Grok and others to ensure I installed correctly. So glad the drain lined up where I expected, installing that was easily the worst of this whole project, it not lining up would’ve been even worse. It turned out great!

I was looking for an affordable shower base that was made of Fiberglas, not plastic. The plastic ones have “give” that allow you to bounce up and down slightly in the shower, like in some of the cheaper hotel showers. This Swiss Madison shower base was exactly what I was looking for. It’s made of sturdy fiberglass, has a beautiful glossy white finish, and the bottom has a slight bumpy surface to give you some grip when standing or getting in and out of the shower. Best of all, it’s a generous width compared to our old builder-grade shower from 1996. It gave us some extra room from the wall to the shower door (door was not installed yet in this video) while still being a standard 48” length, so that it fit into the original shower cubbyhole. Combined with new bathroom tile and fixtures, I feel like a millionaire in the bathroom now.

After receiving the first shower base and seeing that although the shipping box was perfect, that the shower base had a severe crack in it, we decided to try again and asked for a replacement base. After an EXTRA month of waiting due to issues from the shipping service that I myself had to jump through hurdles to fix because they had lost a shipping tag from the replacement, we finally received our replacement.....which is in even worse condition than the first one!! It is a shame because the shower base itself would be beautiful and exactly what I need, if not for being broken both times. Very disappointment in both the company selling/manufacturing the product and the shipping service chosen to deliver the product to my family. You definitely want to rethink purchasing this one, no matter how good the advertised pictures look.

The item I ordered was as described and just what I was looking for, the quality is superb! Initially I was discouraged having received two orders back to back that were damaged in shipment. The third order was the charm! Item arrived undamaged even though the box was demolished. I believe it is a contest among shipping companies to see how badly they can damage something before delivering it to the customer. I feel bad for the vendor because they sent out a perfect item, not their fault the shipping company destroyed it. I can't say enough good about the vendor and about Amazon for making it right.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I don't really like the fit of the drain cover. I can see the drain on the edges and I think hair could get into the drain around it.
