I was very worried about this buy but 2 months later I couldn’t be happier with it. No more back pain. I do advise that you read the instructions as soon as you receive you package. I waited 3 days to open the box, so it took a full 3 days for the mattress to reach just over 11”. It did eventually reach the full 12”. The box it arrived in was very damaged but there was absolutely no damage to the mattress. I have washed and dried the mattress cover once and it did not tear, fray or melt. One last thing there is a slight chemical smell, possibly from the memory foam. When I washed the cover I went ahead and sprayed some fabreeze on the mattress and after that and washing the cover, no more smell. Guess you could wash the cover while you’re waiting the 24-48 hours for the mattress to expand and spray fabreeze on the mattress. I’m just extremely sensitive to scent. Lastly, if you press the mattress with your hand it is soft and almost pillow-like, which worried me but once you’re body weight is evenly laying on the mattress, it’s pretty firm but conforms so well that I can finally sleep on my back and stomach. ... show more

This is my 4th memory foam mattress. This is is suppose to be a temporary bed until i save up for a more expensive one. This is by far the softest memory foam mattress I've had. It also sleeps warmer than my last one. This mattress took a lot longer to open up than my previous mattresses and took about 3 days for it to get to its normal firmness. This mattress has really impressed me and i like it a lot. Will probably hold off on the upgrade for a while because this one is awesome. ... show more

I’ve had this mattress for a few months now. Went from having a Beauty Rest Black Ice medium firm that was only 2 years old to this. Wish I would have looked at this mattress first. My husband couldn’t spend more than a few hours a night in it before opting for the couch and I always woke up with back pain. After ‘breaking’ this one in ie walking all over it to soften it up and sitting on it it’s pretty comfortable. My husband sleeps in bed all night again. I still have some aches and pains but nothing compared to the previous mattress. I gave this 4/5 for comfort only because if sitting on it too long to read or watch tv it leaves my lower back very sore. Definitely best for sleeping. People complain about being able to get out of bed or moving around on it - it is a memory foam mattress so it conforms around you. Yes some mornings are harder to crawl out of it just like some nights are harder to shift and move but it’s not an actual issue. It’s part of the mattress. It also works great with my adjustable frame. The only good thing that came with my previous mattress. It’s definitely worth the price and so much better than the expensive ones. ... show more

I got this bed for the reviews and the price. At first I was going to just get the Lull but my boyfriend found this mattress on amazon & the price was good. We got this bed for our new apartment together & our first issue we ran into is you have to wait 2-3 days to sleep on it (um wtf?? we obvi didn't wait lol didn't want to sleep on the floor) also the bed is softer when you get it at first out of the box but after the 2-3 days are up the bed is much firmer than when it came in. If you enjoy firm beds maybe this is for you... But also maybe not. My bf likes firm beds but has the same complaints that I do, & I like medium/firm beds. We loved the bed when we first took it out of the box. However, now we have been dealing with backaches & restless nights. We will be purchasing a mattress topper (A thick one) bc this bed is just not for us. We find ourselves not feeling well rested & nobody wants to deal with backaches, especially my boyfriend who works for a really physically demanding job. This bed is okay if you are on a tight budget, but I would invest more into something that's... I hate to say it... better. ... show more

The good first, then the bad. Back back is down significantly, I got a thin cotton stuffed pillow because my giant chopped memory foam pillow is now to thick and hurts my hurts my neck, so I use it between my legs now, it's wonderful. It's super soft and retakes shape after supporting my 6"2 225lb body. After airing out for 3 days, it stopped just short of 11in, not the full 12. It also gets a little hot, but I found that putting an extra cotton sheet down makes it cooler, and just rolling over on my back for 15-20 seconds or onto my side allows the trapped heat to quickly escape. I move around a lot naturally so it's not to bad, but my gf is a little annoyed by the heat of it, it is however the best memory foam mattress we've ever had, other mattresses would have us sweating, this is just short of that. ... show more

I had high hopes for this mattress based on other reviews but I was disappointed. It was easy to unroll and set up and I love the convenience of having a mattress delivered and then expanding. Memory foam is soft and comfortable at first. However after using this mattress for several months it had begun to sink in on the most used spots like the edges. You can feel a significant difference from the edge of the bed to the middle of the bed. It has also given me terrible back pain for weeks after first using. My body has adapted but it was very uncomfortable for the longest time. Overall I would say it’s okay for the price but I’m not highly impressed as the other reviews had me anticipating. ... show more

This mattress has no support to keep you from sinking all the way down. I sat on it and before long I could feel the box springs under me. I laid down on it and after a little while I could feel the box springs under me. I guess the saying is true "you get what you pay for" I tried to return it but UPS refuses to take it back, they said I would have to call Amazon to come pick it up but you can't get a hold of Amazon to see if they are going to come get this thing. I am not going to pay over $250.00 for something that I can't even use. If Amazon will not come get it and return it then they can refund me my money anyway. ... show more

I’m literally on the phone with customer service trying to figure out how to get this thing out of my house.
