Primary Arms SLX 3X MicroPrism Scope

Features

• ACSS Raptor 7.62x39/.300 BLK Yard reticle: Glass-etched reticle functions with or without illumination and provides yards-based BDC holdovers, auto-ranging stadia, 5 mph and 10 mph wind holds, and moving target leads calibrated for 7.62x39 and .300 AAC Blackout cartridges. Bold outer horseshoe and center chevron deliver fast target acquisition at close range. 1/4 MOA click adjustments with 80 MOA of total windage and elevation travel
• Ultra-compact with wide field of view: Measures just 2.95 inches in length and weighs under 7.95 oz. Delivers a 38.0 feet field of view at 100 yards with 2.7 inches of eye relief; includes an industry-standard mini-prism mount footprint with 8 configurable mounting height options for broad platform compatibility
• 13 green illumination settings: Green illuminated reticle cycles through 13 brightness levels reaching true Daylight Bright at maximum output for clear reticle visibility in direct sunlight. AutoLive motion-sensing technology automatically activates and deactivates illumination to extend runtime across all brightness settings
• Ruggedized mounting system: Fixed 3x magnification prism optic features a black hardcoat anodized aluminum body; waterproof, fog resistant, and shockproof; next-generation ruggedized mount with integrated recoil lugs and large-diameter crossbolts ensures secure zero retention under sustained recoil; etched reticle with adjustable diopter provides a clear, crisp sight picture even for shooters with astigmatism
• Primary Arms Lifetime Warranty: Backed by Primary Arms' Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer defects, materials, and workmanship. Transferable to any owner without proof of purchase

Description

This Primary Arms MicroPrism is part of the SLx optics line. SLx optics built their reputation for innovation, reliability, and value. All SLx optics undergo rigorous field-testing during development to best serve you in any environment. The SLx 3x MicroPrism is an all-new advanced optical system that combines the compact, lightweight size of a microdot with the durability and precision of a 3x magnified optic. The SLx 3x MicroPrism offers 13 illumination settings with AutoLive motion-sensing on/off technology. Weighing under 8oz, the SLx 3x MicroPrism is smaller and lighter than many red dot sights, though its crystal-clear glass and 3x magnification offer improved precision at distance. Even at close range, the optic’s wide field-of-view and forgiving eye relief make it easy to snap on target. Because the SLx 3x MicroPrism uses an etched reticle with adjustable diopter, the user will always have a clear, crisp reticle image, even if they have severe astigmatism. When set to max illumination, the MicroPrism reticle is fully daylight bright. Paired with the AutoLive motion-sensing illumination technology, this optic provides an exceptionally long runtime at any brightness setting. This package also includes the new ruggedized mounting system with industry standard mini-prism footprint, guaranteeing reliability and zero retention through heavy use and adverse conditions. Out of the box, this mount can be set for 8 different mounting heights and configurations, ensuring compatibility with any rifle system. The ACSS Raptor 300BO/7.62x39-YP reticle is part of the patented ACSS Reticle series. The Advanced Combined Sighting System (ACSS) is a high-performance reticle solution to the challenges of modern marksmanship, distilling complex mathematics into intuitive holdovers that enhance your speed and precision. Each ACSS reticle is specially designed to outperform in real-world applications, incorporating a mix of tools to deliver instant firing solutions. These tools may include ballistic drop compensation, auto-ranging stadia, wind holds, moving target leads, or an infinitely-precise center chevron. The ACSS-RAPTOR-7.62x39/300BO-YP brings the same features as the 5.56/.308 reticle, except the holdovers match 7.62x39 and .300 AAC Blackout ballistics. At close range, users can rely on the bold outer horseshoe and infinitely precise center chevron for fast and accurate target acquisition. As range increases, users can use the auto-ranging ballistic holdovers and accompanying 5-mph and 10-mph wind holds, which are set in 100-yard increments. The ACSS-RAPTOR-7.62x39/300BO-YP brings the same features as the 5.56/.308 reticle, except the holdovers match 7.62x39 and .300 AAC Blackout ballistics. Knowing the proper range to your target is crucial in order to use the right hold on the BDC. Auto ranging a standard 18” wide target horizontally is correlated with the BDC hash marks. The horizontal hash marks range estimate center mass on targets 18” wide, and predators or small game with an approximately 18” measurement from shoulder to hip. When using the BDC to auto range, simply fit the target’s width inside the BDC hash mark that matches it, and fire. All the math has been done. Gravity will affect your bullet’s trajectory (or path). The BDC starts at the tip of the chevron and finishes at the 600 yard mark, indicated by the lowest hash mark. Simply aim using the point in the reticle that coincides with the range to target. For targets at ranges between points you can split the difference. For example, for a target at 450 yards you should aim halfway between the 400 and 500-yard hash marks. We recommend that you establish a steady, supported position in order to utilize the BDC. Notice the dots aligned with the BDC marks below the chevron. They are 5 mph (8 kph) and 10 mph (16.1 kph) wind marks. Wind will cause the bullet to drift left or right depending on wind direction.
