My dogs enjoy this food, however the nuggets are quite large and must be broken apart (as package suggests). The problem is, some bags have nuggets that are easily broken up, while other bags have nuggets that cannot be broken by hand. I had to put them in a baggie and hit them with a meat tenderizer! Can’t really determine if they are stale, or if they just have bad quality control for the ingredients. I was getting a monthly delivery- so this happened more than once. Won’t be ordering this food anymore.

I've been feeding this brand for most of my dog's short life. He will not eat most kibble and definitely doesn't like some of the major kibble brands. I've used RR's frozen, freeze dried, treats, and goat milk. My dog loves it and the result is a fit, oh-so-soft fur baby with a happy belly. Poops are always well formed and twice a day. On kibble the poor dude will poop upwards of 5 times per day-- on RR it's always twice like clockwork. He always eagerly gobbles it up, and can barely contain himself while I make him sit and WAIT for his meals. He will walk away from kibble and won't eat. I have a dog that doesn't like to drink water, so mixing extra water into his food makes a nice slurry he slurps up. The results were so good, my parents switched their elderly dog to it, and can't believe how it's changed their pup-- he had severe skin issues and itchiness--all gone on this food. I've used all the flavors except chicken, and even accidentally bought the cat versions (ha!) he likes those too! I did switch to using goat kefir on top for the probiotic benefits, but everything this company makes is fabulous. Say goodbye to runny stool or bloated bellies, this food is the right stuff.

Easy to make...always good to have on hand if you run out of dog food kibble. It is quite pricey for a 60lb dog. I use 12-14 nuggest per meal, so my bags don't last long. These bags are about $31.... I use it when I am in a pinch.

I have a very picky eating 11 year old Pom who has turned her nose up at the best canned food and other freeze dried foods until I tried Primal and now she licks her dish so clean I hardly have to wash it after her meal. It is a bit more pricey than some of the others but all is eaten. The one thing I do not understand is the pricing, a 14 oz bag is a bit over $21 while a 28 oz bag goes for $54. In my mind that does not make a lot of sense. I will just by 2 14 oz bags and save $10 purchase.
