So, I love to cook and I use eggs a lot. Whether it's a fried egg topping, breakfast style, in baking, etc. Why am I saying all of this? Because my 2 year old daughter loves imitating me. Maybe too much. She learned how to grab eggs out of the fridge (before I put a lock on it) and I ended up with a horrible mess to clean... a few times. I have no clue why it took me so long to remember these awesome play eggs!! I was actually browsing for an Easter bunny plushie and this product popped up in the listings. It was like a ray of sunshine descended from the heavens to guide me back to the path of pure, clean toddler playtime. Not only are they perfect imitations of real eggs, they're educational too! And cleaning these up are sooooooo much easier than the former! My daughter is still playing with her new toy eggs as I write this, giving me the time I needed for an unusually lengthy review from me. So parents, don't skip out on this product! Save your couches and sanity at the same time!

This was awesome for the little guy at Easter. Great storage, they fit together well but are easy enough for the 1yo to get them apart. Now, if we could just get him to put them back together instead of tossing them across the room......

These are fun game for my 1.5 year old. At this age, he enjoys taking them all apart and handing me the matches to put together. The egg carton container is really nice to store them in. My one slight complaint is sometimes the egg connections are not very tight. You put the matching egg piece together but it still falls apart because the seal isn’t tight. Not every egg is like this, but some are.

I got this for my baby after gifting one to my nephew who loved his. My 1 year old also loves this toy and of course when your toddler will actually play with a toy instead of everything else, It's great! She figured it out quickly how to pull them apart and put some of the easier ones back together. It's great that it can teach shapes and colors as well as motor skills. I also have her help me put them all back in the carton because we're teaching her to put things away. The only thing that was a little weird was 2 of the eggs had the same color and shape in them. I didn't expect 1 random duplicate pair in the dozen though it's easy to have one little mistake out of 12, or maybe that's the way it's made, either way, it doesn't really matter, still, a great learning toy and lots of fun for the little ones.
