This was awesome for the little guy at Easter. Great storage, they fit together well but are easy enough for the 1yo to get them apart. Now, if we could just get him to put them back together instead of tossing them across the room......

Such a great toddler gift! My son is 18 months old and can get these apart and put them back together pretty easily. He’s not great at matching them on his own yet. He can match the colors, but can’t match the shapes right away - there are two eggs with each color. My son loves toys that involve organizing, sorting, matching, etc. So he definitely loves this toy! The toy itself is super sturdy, definitely not going to break with normal, everyday use. The colors are bright and fun. It’s a little annoying to clean because hairs, fuzz, etc. really stick to the plastic on the carton. But definitely happy with this purchase and would purchase again! A great gift for toddlers!

It has been so difficult to find a toy for my toddler that he stays truly engaged in. STEM type activities seem to be what he is drawn to the most, but a lot of modern day toys come with batteries or have some element of technology that honestly I think turns a lot of kids off. Why is a kid going to follow directions from a voice that they don't recognize? Sitting down and engaging in play with my child has by far been the best method for my family. And the "egg game" makes it so fun and easy. The actual set itself is so cute. We pull apart all of the eggs and there are many different methods of putting them back together again. It's a very unique interactive puzzle. And now a toy essential in our home. 10/10 would recommend for your family, or even as a young child's birthday gift. The price is right as a bonus.

I got this for my 2 year old daughter who loves fine motor skills activities. She and my 3 year old daughter loved them from the start. A year later my younger can match them together lickity split and they use them to “cook” in their play kitchen, pretend to hatch from them in a dramatic and slightly disturbing display, they also play chicken farmer and “collect” eggs, make nests for them, egg hunt, list goes on. These can be used for counting, color and shape recognition, too. A very durable and versatile toy. I would recommend for any kids up to 3 but older kids will use them too. My only complaint is that the container is hard for them to open by themselves. Call me a crappy mother but my kids don’t need more reasons to bug me.

So, I love to cook and I use eggs a lot. Whether it's a fried egg topping, breakfast style, in baking, etc. Why am I saying all of this? Because my 2 year old daughter loves imitating me. Maybe too much. She learned how to grab eggs out of the fridge (before I put a lock on it) and I ended up with a horrible mess to clean... a few times. I have no clue why it took me so long to remember these awesome play eggs!! I was actually browsing for an Easter bunny plushie and this product popped up in the listings. It was like a ray of sunshine descended from the heavens to guide me back to the path of pure, clean toddler playtime. Not only are they perfect imitations of real eggs, they're educational too! And cleaning these up are sooooooo much easier than the former! My daughter is still playing with her new toy eggs as I write this, giving me the time I needed for an unusually lengthy review from me. So parents, don't skip out on this product! Save your couches and sanity at the same time!

I got this set as an Easter basket gift and my 2 year old loves it! We open each egg and name the color and the shape. They are very sturdy and durable also the egg carton box is very sturdy too and I don't feel as if it could be broken very easily. I thought this was a cute way to practice counting, shapes, and colors while also having play food to pretend cook with.
