I got the fuschia color and it is a really beautiful vibrant red violet shade- exactly as pictured! It also has a bit of a sheen to it up close. I am 5'5" and 175-ish lbs. After reading reviews, I went with an XL, hoping for an oversize fit to wear with leggings. That's not what I got - it is much closer to my body than I expected based ont he reviews. It's still wearable - I was just hoping for a more baggy/slouchy fit. I think a few other reviews also mentioned that the turtleneck is very long...that was true for me, too. I had to cut about 3-4" off and then it was fine (and doesn't appear to fray/unravel where I cut it). It's not super soft, but it's also not itchy (and I have extremely sensitive skin). It's warm but not thick- which works for me, as I tend to overheat. Overall, I'm happy with it - I just wish it were a bit more oversize (which is not the manufacturer's fault - it does fit like a typical XL would...I just expected something different based on the reviews).

I ordered this in a different color last year, size L, and loved it, but it wasn’t quite loose enough or long enough to really wear with leggings. I decided to order the XL in the cream color hoping for the look I wanted. The sweater arrived and it was soft and beautiful but the XL was ginormous. I am 5’7”, 160# and it hit about 2” above my knees (the large fell to mid bum). The width was enough to fit two or three of me in there, and the arms were about 2 inches past my fingertips. I figured if I washed and dried it it would shrink (the large did a bit) and it DIDN’T. Sadly I had to return it.
