I have a love-hate relationship with acrylic sweaters because I am hypersensitive to wool itchiness (for some reason this sensitivity doesn't apply to cashmere or alpaca) but I also prefer breathable materials in cold weather. I had a beloved beige chunky acrylic sweater that got destroyed by a colored sock in the wash and I needed a replacement because it's a good capsule wardrobe item to have. This one fits the bill, though the construction isn't the best so I don't know if it will last for very long. The fabric, while soft, has a slightly plasticky feeling that makes me suspect it will only get more 'squeaky' with washing as I don't use softeners.

I ordered this sweater for my wife - she likes it but and feels like a good heavy material for the winter. The style is ok - she likes it better on the model then her. Other then that good quality sweater - definitely will keep you warm.

It's rare I get excited about clothing I buy on Amazon. Everyone knows clothing is either hit or miss and usually, it's a miss. This one on the other hand, is a HIT for me! I love the "oversized without being too oversized" look. The knit is chunky enough and isn't too heavy. A great mid weight I guess. I am 5'5" 115lbs and wear a small. I ordered the small and it fits awesome. The texture is acceptably soft. Not the softest sweater ever but not scratchy either in my opinion. If you are someone who is very sensitive to acrylics, this is not for you. But I have to say, this is on the nicer side of the acrylic fabrics i've experienced. I want every color. It pairs well with skinnies, 90's wide legs and even skirts. So versatile. Love it.

This sweater is really pretty and looks flattering on. The material is very soft and not scratchy against the skin. Fit perfectly ordering my normal size with some room which I like. Washed really well and hung to dry. Would definitely get in different colors.
