I bought the green and black print because I needed a kelly green dress and I needed it fast for my 24-year-old nephew's memorial service who passed away from complications from a genetic disorder he suffered with his whole life. I bought the PRETTYGARDEN Women’s Boho Floral Maxi Dress in black, size Large, and I am happy to report that this dress understood the assignment. I am 5'3", so maxi dresses can be a gamble. Sometimes they are elegant. Sometimes they make me look like I borrowed curtains from a dramatic widow and forgot to hem them. This one was the perfect length for my shorty self. It skimmed close to the ground without dragging through the mulch, which is more than I can say for plenty of dresses that have tried to take me down in public. The fit is great. It is flowy, comfortable, and flattering without feeling clingy. The black color gives it a dressed-up look, but the fabric and shape keep it easy to wear. I wore it out in the garden for photos, surrounded by flowers, greenery, and a little bit of Texas heat trying to mind everybody’s business, and the dress still looked pretty and effortless. It moved nicely when I walked, especially with the skirt brushing around my ankles and the flowers along the path. It is one of those dresses that can go several directions. You could wear it for a night out, dinner, church, a summer event, or, in my case, a funeral followed by a night out—because life has a strange sense of timing and apparently my closet needed to be emotionally versatile. The sleeves are comfortable, the waist sits nicely, and the overall shape has that easy boho feel without looking sloppy. I also like that it feels feminine without being fussy. I did not feel like I had to keep adjusting it every five minutes, which is always a win. Overall, this is a beautiful, comfortable black maxi dress that fits well, wears easily, and works especially well if you are on the shorter side and tired of dresses trying to sweep the whole county. I love the color, floral print , and the overall shape is flattering, but I'm decided about keeping it. The wrap doesn't overlap much, it's not just the neckline - the front of the dress feels like it could shift or open too far very easily. I would probably need to add snaps and/or use a lot of fashion tape to feel secure wearing it. I really like the overall look so I wish I wouldn't have to modify it in order to keep it. ... show more

I am petite and small framed, but am fuller in the bra. Therefore, it can be challenging to find a dress that fits as well on top as it does from the waist down. I bought this in a small and it is very long but I love the fit. Comfortable and easy to wear, it washes and dries easily and quickly. I have four of these dresses in different colors. I normally buy higher-end dresses, but these are pretty, easy to wear around the house and even for popping out to the store. Some of the designs even look good on camera for virtual meetings too. It’s Handy to have the closure at the top instead of having to wear a camisole underneath, but as far as the wrap is concerned, it can sometimes rise up the thigh when sitting down or flap open somewhat when the wind blows. Value for money? Considering the type of material from which they are made, I find that the reduced price is more reasonable and comparative than the full price. ... show more

This dress is very pretty and flattering. I'm giving it four stars because it is almost perfect except: 1) there is no stretch at all to the fabric and 2) In most wrap dresses, the ties are of a length where you run one of the ties in front of you and through the hole (which I did) then around your back to your left hip, then the other tie wraps once all around your body on the outside of the dress and is long enough to meet the other tie on the left hip where you tie them together in a bow. This outside tie is only long enough to make it to the front of your stomach and tie, which is not the classic wrap dress look. Which might be fine for you but is odd to me. I'm returning this one. The pattern and color is beautiful, and the fabric is not sheer, but no stretch is also a deal breaker for me. ... show more
