Customers Compain of pilling but did they follow the strict washing instructions...(?)

I love this sweater because it is classy and super super soft. It is heavy and best for winter and note it runs a size larger than it states as told by other customers as well. Also note that customers complain of it pulling but I am wondering if they read the strict instruction to hand wash. Please follow these instructions for the best results: Why Hand Washing Saves your sweater Hand washing completely changes how the fabric behaves. It eliminates the aggressive twisting, rubbing, and friction caused by a washing machine's agitator and drum. By gently bathing the sweater instead of scrubbing it, you keep the synthetic fibers smooth and prevent them from tangling into pills. 4 Rules to Keep It Looking New Wash it inside out: This protects the outer face of the sweater from any minor friction during the hand-washing process. Use cold water and liquid detergent: Powder detergents can be abrasive. Cold water prevents the synthetic fibers from relaxing too much and releasing loose ends. Never wring or twist: Press the water out gently against the side of the sink, or roll the sweater in a clean towel to absorb excess moisture. Dry flat: Hanging a wet polyester/elastane blend will stretch it permanently out of shape. Lay it flat on a drying rack or a dry towel. _______________ To machine wash your sweater safely, you can do it ***but you must strictly follow this checklist:*** The Safe Machine Washing Setup Turn it inside out: This ensures any minor friction happens on the hidden inside fabric rather than the visible outer face. My new favorite sweater

I wanted a cozy sweater that I could wear at home when I felt a bit chilly. However, I had tried other sweaters in the past that looked frumpy or made me feel unkempt when I walked around the house. They were either oversized in the wrong way or looked cheap. So, I was looking for something that I could wear comfortably at home without feeling like I was wearing a blanket. I was primarily looking for a sweater with the style I wanted, but I didn’t expect much more. To my surprise, this sweater has far exceeded my expectations. It’s incredibly soft, much softer than any other sweater I’ve tried. It looks exactly how I hoped, and it goes well with everything. The color is beautiful and natural, so I’m extremely happy with it. Another thing I like is that it’s really easy to roll up the sleeves. If I need to wear it while cooking, I can easily roll up the sleeves without any trouble. Other sweaters that are a bit oversized have a hard time staying rolled up, so everything about this sweater has exceeded my expectations.

Nice enough but packaging seems to have ruined it

Wanted to love this sweater, but wouldn’t go that far. Pros: The color (army grn) is gorgeous. Don’t let the word “army” throw you off, the color is very rich, not flat. Very soft. The texture isn’t what I’d call chunky. It’s a flat weave in a thin, lightly fuzzy yarn. It gives a subtle tweed look to sweater. Although it’s still August, I suspect it will keep away an indoor chill, but doesn’t seem heavy enough for the coldest days. I think it will be perfect for spring and fall. Fits well - 5’4” 230 lbs XXL, carry weight in front. Have been losing weight and think it will transition well from fitted now to slouchy later. Great price point for what it is. Cons: White plastic buttons look and are extraordinarily cheap; need to be replaced. The worst of it is, it came vacuum sealed in a plastic bag which seams to have permanently pressed creases into the knit. I ran it through the steam setting on dryer; it helped a bit, but still obviously creased. Tried saturating the worst area in water then threw in dryer on air dry; creases still there. Ran through handwash setting in washer and have it laying flat on towels, still there (see photo). Even using handwashing setting sweater started pilling; although, it is even over entire sweater and gives a bit of a boucle look to it. When dry I’ll take a sweater brush to it in hopes it will fluff it back up again and hide the creasing. If not, back it goes. Would have been mostly happy with it if the packaging hadn’t ruined it. Was going to buy more, but will see how this one comes out first.

Soft cardigan with good color choices

Very nice soft brown cardigan. I paired it over a white short-sleeve collared polo shirt and it was perfect for our chilly office. I also ordered in pink and it’s the same soft material. Both colors were as pictured and are versatile. Maybe a smidge big, you could probably size down if you like a more fitted look. I’m 5’4” and got a medium. Overall a great cardigan.

Feels nice and fits well

I bought 2 sweaters in 2 different colors. Navy and light blue. And although it said to hand wash them, I washed them in the washing machine on delicate and as per instructions, put them in the dryer. They came out great. I did wash and dry them inside out. The buttons stayed firmly attached, and there were no pulls or pills in the fabric. The sweater body fit well although the sleeves are a bit long, which I guess is better than short. I do like these sweaters. The only thing is I was expecting a lighter weight sweater and these are heavier than I would like, and I would prefer natural fibers. But I'm going to keep and I will use them in the colder temperatures.
