If you’re trying to decide if you should buy it buy it. My daughter plays with this toy for hours. She plays alone, with her cousins and with us. It is always a hit. She loves the little microphone that comes with it as well.

The media could not be loaded. This register is really cute and fun. If you don't want your child to use the microphone you can simply pull it out the register will still open even if it's not turned on so that's nice too in case you run out of batteries and they still want to play. You have to get really close when you're using the microphone. I measured about a half of an inch away from the microphone to be able to hear my voice. To me this is a good thing because then I don't have to worry about my son being too loud or it picking up background noise when the button is pressed. Also for the microphone to work you press the speaker button which is located right under the off button. So many options with the microphone. Not too big of a deal but thought it would be worth mentioning each denomination has 10 bills except for the $20 bill I only got 9 of. I suggest having the item up against a wall if a younger toddler is going to use it because when you close the drawer you have to hold the machine in place to be able to close it otherwise it'll just slide across the floor. I played with the calculator and it is accurate. The noise level is about medium. I wish there was a button where I could turn off the keypad noise. But other than that I really like this item

The speaker doesn't work well at all. If the mic is almost in your mouth it will pick up sound. But everything else has been fine. The kids love playing with it.

My kid likes to play restaurant with his kitchen play set and we use this as a register for diners. Also when we play grocery store, hotel, and toy store shopping. It also helps to learn how to count money and change. The microphone could use some improvement as you have to speak into it really, really closely. If you think you’re close, get closer. But as I haven’t seen many pretend cash registers with that feature and at this price, it’s ok.

There are so many toy cash registers on Amazon and I chose this set because it seemed to be the most realistic. The set comes with play money, play credit card, and the cash register. The microphone detaches and the set requires batteries that are not included. I love that the set is a STEM toy and encourages children to learn. The working calculator helps with math skills. The register is well made and nice quality. I like that the drawer opens and closes and makes a sound when opening. The microphone has been a hit! Warning, Small parts. The coins are small and can be a choking hazard. I took the coins out of the set for my toddler.

So we actually saw this item at one of the youth centers that we go to and my daughters really loved it so when I saw it on here, I had to purchase it. It’s great for teaching money value. The size is big and it makes really cool noises like a real register. My kids are obsessed with that. I highly recommend.
