  • Universe of learning and entertainment for toddler
Style: SPG-Blue1
This is a complete pack of entertainment and learning for toddlers. I have one 3 years and another 5 years both of them want their turns on this. Bigger one is almost capable to operate it but smaller one is surely somewhat engaging on this. Navigating through is definitely not easy as there are alot of things packed on this. There are alphabet, number learnings to math practices to some old school games and of course color painting. I simply love the content available on it. Talking about the screen it's not big and we are not comparing it to some tablets so i'm considering it okay. The level of sound is okay and can be used on the crowded place as well. This is rechargeable unit and battery last for good time. It can be operated while it is plugged in to the charger as well. Built is okay but not of premium quality so definitely need some proper handling. ... show more

  • A great option for learning games and as a option to avoid using tablets.
Style: SPG-Blue1
Our son is a little delayed in his speech so we use teaching aids like tablets, books, and alphabets a lot to try and get him to speak more. This little tablet has been an excellent option to rotate into his daily computer time. We like the physical buttons rather than the touchscreen options and there's lots of little choices to go from different games which all are learning activities in the end and our son ends up doing lots of reading and mimicking off of what he reads on the screen itself. This was very easy for him to figure out as a 5 year old with autism and he worked through finding all of the different games and learning to navigate around all of the little apps easily. The device itself is very light weight and has a rechargeable battery which makes things very cheap to run rather than relying on single use batteries. The charging jack is a USB-C which also is a great thing as far as us having these cables all over for charging. There is one specific issue we are having though, the little device seems to not be turning on or charging like it did out of the box and it appears that the battery terminals are either corroding, losing contact somehow, or the battery is shifting while my son moves around with his toy and the battery is coming loose. I've had to open the back cover a few times and adjust the battery and it will turn back on. If the battery isn't making contact the device just won't charge obviously. When you plug this tablet in to charge, you usually get a little red LED indicator showing it's charging but as you can see in the pictures it doesn't always show. Overall, my son loves it, we see improvement in his learning, and its cheap enough to get as a back up or main tablet and not worry about it getting dragged around, but the charging might give you issues. ... show more

  • Huge Bag Of Knowledge Packaged Incorrectly
Style: SPG-Blue1
This tablet is very educational. It comes packed with many lessons from alphabets, numbers, shapes, vocabulary words, and more. The only major downside is the user interface. A toddler will not know how to operate a tablet with all the letters and number keys laid out. If a parent were to operate the tablet with the child, then I feel that this can be a very useful educational tool. The coloring book for example, requires pushing the up/down/left/right to navigate a tiny paint brush like a computer mouse and pressing the <ENTER> button to color the object the brush is pointing to. The brush can be moved with pin point accuracy to paint the coloring book sheet, which is also very detailed. One coloring sheet is that of a beach with several trees on a beach with coconuts and leaves. You can paint each leaf a different color! A few things to note. There is no SETTINGS menu to allow you to adjust things like screen brightness or auto screen shut off. The volume adjustment is digital. I feel it jumps from MUTE to a pretty loud noise setting without a softer setting. Each physical button makes a clicking noise when you press on it. The noise is coming from the keypad itself and not from the speakers. I find this a bit annoying when trying to use the tablet at night. Lastly, the placement of the MENU button is too close to the up/down/left/right control in my opinion. While using the tablet, I accidentally pressed the menu button several time, causing the tablet to reset to the main menu. There is no BACK button to allow us to go back to the previous screen. Overall, this is a very fun tablet. Adults can even find joy playing all the mini games! As long as you understand how to use the keypad to interact with the tablet, you'll go a long way. Don't expect any toddler or young kids to be able to use this tablet by themselves without any help from an adult. Understand the shortcomings I've shared. 3 stars!! ... show more

  • Fun little gadget!
Style: SPG-Blue1
My 5 year-old niece enjoys playing with this tablet. There are definitely some activities beyond her capabilities, but generally, she is able to engage. She likes the piano feature and she has acquainted herself with the volume buttons, thank goodness! I like playing the Memory game. One thing I would recommend is a earphone jack. Also, the screen is a little small for my liking but my niece doesn't seem to mind. She's learned to navigate through the many activities and it keeps her occupied for a long time. The fact that I don't have to monitor the content like on the internet, is a comfort. Fun little gadget! ... show more
